You don't know how much I wanted to make this return, because Blurt is a blockchain that I really like a lot and which, despite not having said it publicly, I have always been present, especially in the technical aspect to be always active in the Blurt Witness channel on the Discord server of the Blurt foundation.

I must admit that I felt frustrated by the amount of things we have had against us that have generated a lot of negative reactions from our communities, regardless of countries or languages; the Blurt team (in which I include myself) has been working with nails, with a lot of uncertainty, with many obstacles to move forward this platform and many of them do not even make publications to talk about it (which we know we have to improve).

That's why I've made this post, to explain why I was so absent (only from content creation and curation) from Blurt and also, to put my vision for the future regarding my work as a creator, as a curator and as a witness, so, let's start.

My reasons

One of the biggest reasons why I was absent, was because of monetary situations, more and more the situation in my country (Venezuela) is more difficult and of course, I had to focus my time in things that would give me a bigger monetary remuneration and therefore, that would make me invest more time in other things.

One of them is my life in the Hive blockchain, I had to get another job there as a content curator to be able to double my efforts and thus double my earnings to be able to sustain myself.

I currently have quite a bit of Blurt Power and quite a bit of liquid Blurt, however, I haven't wanted to sell absolutely none of my Blurt for the sake of wanting to support myself doing HODL, so I couldn't count on that for my personal expenses.

Besides that, we have an emergency situation with the services in Venezuela among which the worst conditions are the internet and electricity, so, basically I was unable to upload quality content as I wanted to do, both here and in Hive, but due to survival issues, I had to solve by staying out of my house in many occasions to be able to post.

Now, despite everything mentioned above, there wasn't a day when I wasn't keeping an eye on the Blurt blockchain, because I knew we had a new Hardfork in progress and I promised myself that if I became a Blurt Witness, I would have to -at the very least- keep an eye on that project no matter what.

I had some problems in the last two weeks with my node, as my VPS ran out of memory to be able to host all the files required to maintain a witness and therefore, I started to fail blocks, but thanks to the help of many of our witnesses I was able to solve, I am already producing blocks in the right way so I can say that I am completely back to this great blockchain.

My projects

My projects are still very much in force and in my mind more than anyone can imagine, since in the worst moments of Blurt, I always kept them active, so today that we are in a better situation (at system level) I have to keep them active at broader levels, then, I will reactivate both projects from Monday June 28th.

With the advent of liquid Blurt payments on publications I feel that we now have much more potential to grant rewards to all the people who trust the projects.

In this sense, I have created the account @blurtjam in which I will be posting every week (starting from scratch) of the contest with the new details of the contest, I will do a little rebranding and I will be giving the details the same day Monday.

Regarding the @blurtshorts project, I will also reactivate the curations in the #blurtshorts tag on Monday, now I will make curation reports to generate liquid Blurt for the delegators payments without having to do Power Down and motivated to that, it is very likely that for next week I will announce a change in the % of ROI I will give to the delegators because it is very likely to generate a lot more liquid Blurt than I have to pay, the details will be posted there in the profile.

My personal and witness profile @ilazramusic will remain for my personal content or information regarding the witness or the current situation of the Blurt blockchain, I have a feedback project which I am developing at the moment to bring it out as great Blurt witnesses like @double-u have done for the Hispanic community particularly.

And on top of all that, I'm going to be active as a curator for the @ecosynthesizer (@symbionts) project because I was granted the role of curator quite some time ago, so I'll be curating at least a couple of times a day with that account.

I will continue to report through this medium any information that has relevance to my witness or my situation within the Blurt blockchain using the hashtag #witness-category to keep in touch with the community.

No saben lo mucho que quería hacer este regreso, porque realmente Blurt es una blockchain que me gusta muchísimo y la cuál, a pesar de no haberlo dicho públicamente, siempre he tenido presente, sobretodo en el aspecto técnico al estar siempre activo en el canal de los Testigo de Blurt en el Servidor de Discord de la fundación de Blurt.

Debo admitir que me sentí frustrado por la cantidad de cosas que hemos tenido en contra que han generado muchísimas reacciones negativas de parte de nuestras comunidades, sin importar los países o idiomas; el equipo de Blurt (en el cuál me incluyo) ha estado trabajando con las uñas, con mucha incertidumbre, con muchos obstáculos para sacar adelante esta plataforma y muchos de ellos ni siquiera hacen publicaciones para hablar al respecto (cosa que sabemos que tenemos que mejorar).

Por esa razón es que he hecho este post, para poder explicar el porqué estuve tan ausente (únicamente de creación y curación de contenido) de Blurt y además, colocar mi visión a futuro con respecto a mi trabajo como creador, como curador y como testigo, entonces, comencemos.

Mis motivos

Una de las mayores razones por la cual estuve ausente, fue por situaciones monetarias, cada vez más la situación en mi país (Venezuela) está más difícil y por supuesto, tuve que enfocar mi tiempo en cosas que me dieran una remuneración monetaria más grande y por ende, que me hicieran invertir más tiempo en otras cosas.

Una de ellas es mi vida en la blockchain de Hive, tuve que conseguir otro trabajo allá como curador de contenido para poder duplicar esfuerzos y así duplicar mis ganancias para poder sustentarme.

Actualmente tengo bastante Blurt Power y bastante Blurt líquido, sin embargo, no he querido vender absolutamente nada de mi Blurt por el hecho de querer mantenerme haciendo HODL, así que no podía contar con eso para mis gastos personales.

Además de ello, tenemos una situación de emergencia con los servicios en Venezuela entre los cuales los que están en peor condición son el internet y la electricidad, así que, básicamente me veía imposibilitado de subir contenido de calidad como he querido hacerlo, tanto aquí como en Hive, pero por temas de supervivencia, he tenido que resolver quedándome fuera de mi casa en muchas ocasiones para poder postear.

Ahora, a pesar de todo lo mencionado anteriormente, no hubo día en el que no estuviera pendiente de la blockchain de Blurt, porque sabía que teníamos un nuevo Hardfork en curso y me prometí que si me volvía un Testigo de Blurt, tendría que —a lo mínimo— estar pendiente de ese proyecto a como diera lugar.

Tuve unos problemas en las últimas dos semanas con mi nodo, pues mi VPS se quedó sin memoria para poder alojar todos los archivos que se requieren para mantener un testigo y por ende, empecé a fallar bloques, pero gracias a la ayuda de muchos de nuestros testigos pude solventar, ya estoy produciendo bloques de la manera correcta así que puedo decir que estoy completamente de vuelta a esta gran cadena de bloques.

Mis proyectos

Mis proyectos siguen muchísimo en vigencia y en mi mente más de lo que cualquier persona puede imaginar, ya que en los peores momentos de Blurt, yo siempre los mantuve activos, así que hoy que estamos en una mejor situación (a nivel de sistema) tengo que mantenerlos activos a niveles más ámplios, entonces, voy a reactivar ambos proyectos a partir del día Lunes 28 de Junio.

Con la llegada de los pagos en Blurt líquido en las publicaciones siento que ahora tenemos mucho más potencial para otorgar recompensas a todas las personas que confíen en los proyectos.

En este sentido, he creado la cuenta @blurtjam en la cual estaré posteando todas las semanas (comenzando desde cero) del concurso con los nuevos detalles del mismo, voy a hacer un pequeño rebranding y estaré dando los detalles el mismo día Lunes.

Con respecto al proyecto @blurtshorts, también reactivaré las curaciones en la etiqueta #blurtshorts el día Lunes, ahora realizaré reportes de curación para generar Blurt líquido para los pagos de los delegadores sin tener que hacer Power Down y motivado a eso, es muy probable que para la semana que viene anuncie un cambio en el % de retorno de inversión que le daré a los delegadores porque es muy probable que genere muchísimo más Blurt líquido del que tenga que pagar, los detalles serán posteados allá en el perfil.

Mi perfil personal y de testigo @ilazramusic quedará para mi contenido personal o información al respecto del testigo o de la situación actual de la blockchain de Blurt, tengo un proyecto de feedback el cuál estoy desarrollando en este momento para sacarlo a relucir como lo han hecho grandes testigos de Blurt como @double-u para la comunidad hispana particularmente.

Y además de todo eso, voy a activarme como curador del proyecto @ecosynthesizer (@symbionts) porque se me otorgó hace bastante tiempo el rol de curador, así que estaré curando por lo menos un par de veces diarias con esa cuenta.

Seguiré informando a través de este medio sobre cualquier información que tenga relevancia con mi testigo o mi situación dentro de la blockchain de Blurt utilizando la etiqueta #witness-category para mantener el contacto con la comunidad.
