HI Friends,
I had a good weekend and hope each of you did as well.
The kids went to the grandparents house for the weekend so my wife and I got to spend some quality time together and do some things that we wanted to do. :)
On Friday night, we went to a local brewery and had some food/beers outside in their parking lot due to Covid restrictions. It was a nice date night.
On Saturday, we did some chores around the house in the morning then did a “puzzling adventure” in downtown Los Angeles. The premise is that you go around the city (walking) and find clues and answer questions. You get points for questions and it is timed if you wanted to compete against other teams. We did it at our own pace and had a good time - it took almost 2 hours and we walked more than 3 miles during the Amazing Race-style adventure.
On Sunday, we slept in and I did some gold panning of concentrates in the back yard and relaxed a bit. In the afternoon, I hung the Christmas lights on the outside of the house while my wife decorated the inside. We finished with a nice dinner at home and the weekend was already over.
