I had a good weekend and hope you did as well.
We went out of town to Arizona for a couple of days which was very nice. I didn’t get to do any fishing this time, but it was nice to go on some walks, ride some utvs, and play some games with family. Here are a couple of pics:
I also got the chance to look for some gold on a hike - I tried dry panning a couple of spots for no color and tried my pinpointer metal detector on a few different spots, which resulted in some hot rocks. I also found some quartz that looked promising but I need to crush those down (and a few of the hot rocks) to see if there is any gold in there, but likely not. Still a fun way to spend a few hours.
