Just imagine how simple this is...

in war •  3 years ago

Now, imagine this is not an attack on an armoured personnel carrier.

Imagine this is not the so-called Maidan revolution, sponsored by the West to oust the then democratically elected President of Ukraine and thereby replace him with someone more compliant to the demands of Europe and NATO.

Imagine that this could happen anywhere.

Furthermore, imagine how easy it is to disrupt the network of supplies of all those corporations that are enslaving you - right now.

They all need supplies to keep their flow of toxins going.

Imagine how simple it is - just a bit of petrol and a lighter.

If the link doesn't load, here it is: Ukrainians wrecking Russian Motorized Infantry with Molotov cocktails at improvised roadblocks on the outskirts of Kyiv. The description is bogus - it isn't 2022, but 2014, but it still serves a useful propagandist purpose, from a number of angles.

Propaganda carried out through the mass media has a tremendous impact. Moreover, it is supported by the existence of social media today. The information tsunami that occurs will get worse if media users are not able to respond wisely. In response to the increasing spread of information about the situation in Ukraine, I try to make a simple analysis from the point of view of media discourse:

I've been scanning the twattr feeds related to the war and noticed that, must 95% of accounts are total junk, barely human, possibly attention-seeking trolls who retwat anything trending, or just agents who will evaporate and then condense onto another topic.

Truly very little of any use.

I was once trapped in a theatre of operations and twattr was actually useful within the confines of that small zone so that users could inform about what lay behind the next block or the next road. I've no doubt locals will be doing the same in Ukraine, using whatever platform - but the rest of the world... propaganda mostly. And all the mindless diaper-faces demanding freedom... so long as it's somewhere else.

you do realize Twatter is part of this?
Has been since the Arab Spring...
The Theater of War... and Psyops!

Sure, I just recalled it did have a slither of use once. In an urban war, you really don't know what's round the corner. Sounds also echo, so is not always clear where the gunfire is coming from.

Anyway, such vital small-group convos don't happen filled with tags!! Kinda counter-productive to flag your own location.

Yes, it is true, the media has become the most dangerous propaganda tool for mankind. Everyone can easily create, publish and share any information. And like you said, it's mostly completely useless.

There is a lot of tension in society within a country or between countries because disinformation spreads so quickly that it becomes an excuse to justify the actions taken. This is the real condition that we are facing today, how the political economy of the media plays a role in playing every discourse and forming a paradigm in society. Of course, we must not forget the people behind the media.

If the Ukrainian people hit the Russian fuel supply trucks the Russian Army will be trapped … no fuel, no food, no bullets. Take away the fuel and an Army has just a bunch of heavy machinery they can’t move.

mmm... same argument for toxic drugs, vaxxs, emfs, pesticidal food, GMO snacks, neurotoxic confectionaries... the list is endless.

The Supply chain is critical. You can have all the money in the world.
Unless you can grow your own food you are screwed. You can’t eat your money.

It's so disheartening that I can only imagine that.
It bleeds the heart :-( .
