I watched this movie again after seeing your comment - I saw it when it came out in 2005 but forgot how good it was.
A movie openly saying the US government is the biggest arms dealer, amongst other glimpses of honesty, would never be made these days. And Nicholas Cage was a good actor once - I miss good movies and good actors, shame they are all crap now...
Yeah, I was gonna just post the usual trailer, then found those brief clips and... started watching them again! Almost forgot to post. I like good dramas -without the predictable sappy endings. Have to look back when they made such films. I've recently rewatched things like the Odessa File and Marathon Man.
And they still teach kids that we are at the most peaceful time in history .
