Shackled minds - history Ukraine neo Nazis

Pick a side because the media says so.

I felt like I was being schooled last night by my Polish mother in law and wife.
As much as the Polish have been welcoming to the many mainly women and children that have arrived from the Ukraine - plus the men that have bribed their way out, there is an under current of resentment due to recent history.

Now I like to take pride in relation to my overall knowledge regards history but like I said, I got taken to school last night with hard facts.
I like to remain neutral with regards any subject and study the facts so as not to introduce opinion hence me not draping a Ukrainian flag all over my facebook profile because the media says so.
The Ukrainians have a history of Nazi-ism that still includes this very day.
I have heard from some of them that are now here with regards the Nazis killing their own let alone others.

Let us start with WW2. And if I may I will use outside links to save some time.

"Massacres of Poles in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia."

"Over 100,000 slaughtered with axes, pitchforks, scythes and knives: The Wołyń massacre started 76 years ago today and lasted for two years "

"Today marks 76 years since the coordinated attack by Ukrainian nationalists on 99 Polish towns and villages in Wołyń.

Between 1943 and 1945, members of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army massacred thousands of Poles throughout Wołyń, a region that was in Nazi-occupied Poland and is part of present-day Ukraine.

Throughout the period, it is estimated that around 100,000 Poles died at the hands of Ukrainian nationalists. As part of retaliatory actions, Poles killed between 15,000 and 20,000 Ukrainians."

Whilst I can understand people getting swept away with media led frenzy of pick a side, make sure you know the facts, or you might just well be supporting a Nazi.

"Are there really neo-Nazis fighting for Ukraine? Well, yes — but it's a long story."

"In the context of the Russian invasion, the post-2014 Ukrainian government's problematic relations with extreme right-wing groups and neo-Nazi parties has become an incendiary element on both sides of the propaganda war, with Russia exaggerating it as a pretext for war and the West trying to sweep it under the carpet.

The reality behind the propaganda is that the West and its Ukrainian allies have opportunistically exploited and empowered the extreme right in Ukraine, first to pull off the 2014 coup and then by redirecting it to fight separatists in eastern Ukraine. And far from "denazifying" Ukraine, the Russian invasion is likely to further empower Ukrainian and international neo-Nazis, as it attracts fighters from around the world and provides them with weapons, military training and the combat experience that many of them are hungry for. I watched a video on yt.

Where these far right people entered parliament and would not leave until the government voted in favor of what they wanted. Standing around menacingly after forcing their way in, hardly a democracy is it?

Here is a news report from 8 years ago by the BBC when they at least told the truth before recently spouting MSM propaganda regarding the current conflict.

There are two sides to every story, and not being informed of both sides of the argument is pure ignorance, it is easy to get swept away by mainstream propaganda but should we?

Now do not get me wrong, I have no dog in this fight and this war is as I have said before is 50 minutes from my door. If it ends up here I at least want an informed opinion as to which side I would be fighting for, and if that is Nazis, count me OUT.

If you want an informed opinion then watch this video.

The content of the video is excellent if you want a balanced view with regards to what and why this started, it is from two highly respected American ex forces.
I felt like I learned more in that 1 hour of watching than I could in hundreds of hours researching alone.

I thank @famigliacurione for this video, here is his original post below, please show him some love.

https://blurt.blog/ukraine/@famigliacurione/scott-ritter-ukraine-war-could-have-been-avoided-but-here-s-why-putin-will-achieve-his-goals#@ajerkoff/r9q2yp

There is still more, a lot more to learn about this war/conflict call it what you like.
But blindly following the MSM that has lied to us for decades and basing your stance on feelings not facts is nonsensical to say the least, these whores in the media lied us into Iraq, they never tell the truth, just what they are paid to say.

I shall cover this more another day, but above I would think is at least a core basis for reasonable sound logical thinking, put aside emotion and take in the facts, everything is not black and white, there is a lot more to this than meets the eye.
I do hope you take the 1 hour to watch the video too.

Have a spectacular Sunday funday.

yes I watched that video too and today I've just watched another one which offers a stew of different opinions from learned people and I think it shows the bigger picture too. There is certainly a lot to take into consideration but if we keep concentrating on the micro rather than the macro we get bogged down by 'he said she said' and an eye for an eye.

very good post @ajerkoff, in these special days (isn´t it all special days the last two years?) its not easy to find peeps who are able to see clear and have an open mindset.
I had posted some of my thoughts to this mess a few days ago here and translated it yesterday in english https://blurt.blog/politics/@don-t/engl-translation-of-my-last-post-about-the-situation-in-the-ukrain
after having before posted one nine days ago on steemit but this one is actually not translated from german to english, so maybe if someone is interested in reading it in german here is the link https://steemit.com/hive-146118/@don-t/und-wieder-mal-der-kleine-don-hehe-diesmal-ein-ernstes-thema-wie-meistens-wer-die-wahrheit-nicht-mag-sollte-hier-nicht
maybe I will translate it in the next days but it only makes sense if all the comments are also in english.

thank´s for adding me to your list, and forgive me that i respond so late, I´m actually in a hustle while moving from my old and beautiful place to another for bridging the time until having found the right place to follow the old one here ;)

No need to forgive, everyone is busy, hope your move works out well.

to be honest I hope that too, the bridging isn´t bad but nothing to the views I had before it was a dream location and now the daughter of my landlady will enjoy those fantastic views 😡

Thank you Brother! 🙏 Just so you know, I do not consider you a Wikiliterate! 😉

People trust the site, I do not as I know who edits it after researching the site a few years ago, but other people trust it and with regards this subject they at least got it right.

I actually used to reason in the same way, and I still agree with this perspective somewhat, but I have decided that it is counterintuitive to, in a certain way, legitimize the site by referencing it because it comes back to haunt you when others see that you use it and hence incorrectly believe that you also trust it.

Agree in part but and a big but, I could use a 1000 sources that all state the same facts, but then I have to use the MSM, and they are just as bad at bending the truth which then leaves me to write about it, and who is going to believe just me and my opinion when I was not alive at the time? Nobody.

Here's the important caveat Bro, Wikipedia changes their information daily. Let's say you wrote a post a couple of weeks ago about the Neo- Nazi involvement in Odessa and you cited the Wikipedia entry which a couple of weeks ago actually stated that it was true. You publish your post, someone goes to read it today, they click your Wikipedia link and there now is no mention whatsoever about Neo- Nazis. Guess who now looks hypocritical?

I could read one of your posts on my show and those who know me would not be able to tell that I was reading because your thoughts match mine so closely. You are a very well-informed man, and exceptionally articulate when you write. Why taint that with such a shitty source like Wikipedia?

Try reading it again. 😀

You lost me, 🙃 read what again? The entry on Odessa?

The article, I removed wiki.

Thanks for the information and links, I hope the war stays away from you and stops now.

Cheers brother and you are most welcome, I am trying to present a balanced view not an emotional one, and if it comes here so be it, shed not a tear for me. What will be will be.

Celente is awesome. He got on my radar when he got canceled from the mainstream after coming out against the Iraq war on Oprah, now almost 20 years ago! How time flies.

Yes he is awesome and not willing to change his opinion for popularity. Integrity at it's best.
