My mom said her dad kept home videos. So, I'm thinking these tapes or reels may go back as far as the 1950s but I've not seen them. These videos may be in the possession of my mom's step-mom or sister. Outside of that, my mom, dad, and my two older siblings, appeared on a local TV show for a few minutes around 1982 or 1983. My brother was a baby. I've not been able to find that. It may have been a short interview or something very short. So, there is probably not a lot there. After that, the next known Arnold Attic video would be when my siblings were on the Ramblin' Rod show around 1988 or say the late 1980s. My older sister was in a few plays over the years around that time and into the early 1990s. It's possible people have secret recordings of some of that somewhere. Other than all of that and outside of perhaps other secret videos I may not know about, we started making independent home videos in 1996. So, I say all of that to say we may have been a few videos for a few seconds or longer over the years. But we would have been in the background of most of those videos, that is assuming any of those videos even exist. But in some ways, those videos don't really count in some ways.

Regarding Dead Wing Dork

I would say Dork has a different style. The 3 hour long video he made on me was partly mockery. I was able to handle it because mockery is not new to me. Dork seems to be liberal. The other question would be is he a leftist. I would say he might be partly leftist. Dork lives somewhere in Canada. I don't care what people think about me good or bad, but I appreciate that. The man I compared myself to was Mason, he was a childhood actor and then he made videos later on as a man.

Arnold Attic Films

The Arnold Attic has two big things going for it. First, Arnold Attic has mythology or a story that is still being written. It's still evolving. But secondly, it is also a window into the world of the 1990s, VHS home videos, old video tapes, culture from back in the day, the realm of home videos, a parallel dimension to Bob Saget's America's Funniest Home Videos, etc. I was shocked when Hogan became a member of the NWO. But I kind of liked it eventually. I think Hollywood Hogan started around 2002 according to the first episode of WWE Evil. I saw that new show. It came out in 2022. They covered how he got into the NWO. When did Hogan start using his main song, I Am A Real American? Based on what I saw in 2002, Hogan had a different song at that time.

Are there any good shows out there built on the persona of the 1990s? I'm aware of shows that personified other decades. We had That 70's Shows. The Goldbergs is based on the 1980s. I think Happy Days is the 1950s. I don't remember what we may have for the 1960s. There are other shows and movies relating to decades and centuries predating the 1950s but I'm not too sure in regards to after the 1990s, as in into the 2000s.

1996-2003 - The main canon or at least the original canon and foundation to the Arnold Attic Films would begin in the year 1996 and would continue through to 2003. I would personally make a distinction between the original canon and video that come after that in 2004 and after that. I try to make sense of all of it. I'm still working on trying to organize all of it. Plus, on top of that, videos and things prior to 1996 may or may not be considered as part of the canon or what have you. Same thing for videos and things from after 2003. I can at least make an outline for the original canon. Things outside of that may or may not be added to that canon. The extended universe may be considered to be other things. I would imagine the realm of the Arnold Attic might be set within those set of years. Videos outside of that realm may be considered to be part of other canons, series, etc. I'm not totally sure how I want to go about it. But I at least want to outline the original canon of the Arnold Attic to say the least. I've been in at least one video each year since 2000. I'm in videos in 1996 and 1997. I may not be in any videos in 1998 or 1999 (but there may be some audio tapes from those years). I've never seen any videos of me predating 1996. But on top of that, we were not actually making independent home videos until 1996. So anything prior to 1996 would be like background music. It would be trivial. It would be like maybe a few seconds or less if anything. Perhaps there may be secret videos or things out there predating 1996. There are some audio tapes predating 1996 which I plan to upload. But for the most part, Arnold Attic begins in 1996.

Wrestling

Speaking of wrestling, 19 second into this Arnold Attic video, we had a wrestling match back in 1996. This was probably around August in Oregon. It was filmed in my backyard. I grew up there in a trailer park. They called it a ghetto. Tiffany Cumbo was the referee. Rick (my older brother) was the announcer and cameraman. Bystanders: Crystal, Michael, Bill, and me. Tiff says, "We proudly present to you the WWF." But then Cainaan (Cobra) shouts, "No, the WCW." I forget how to spell his name, Cainan. His wrestling name, Cobra. He fought Snake, AKA Janet Bailey.

Some of the main videos from the top of my head may include:
1996 - Power Rangers starring Billy Breaker and Lot. White Michael Jordan. Little Red Riding Hood. To Heaven or Hell. Wrestling. To the Coast. Christmas. Hanks. Snowman. Claymation style videos. Singing. Potential Funniest Home Videos entry which was never sent, submitted, entered. Gymnastics. Son stabs his father with a knife video. The famous Chump video. Etc. I need to add to this list. There are many videos from 1996.
1997 - Power Rangers II starring Puffer the cat as Loxx Catt. Basketball at a school. Backyard basketball. A few random things. But not as many videos from 1997.
1998 - no videos that I know of, maybe some audio tapes.
1999 - no videos that I know of, maybe some audio tapes. I may have started editing videos in 1999 or at least around 2000 at the latest.
2000 - Valentines Day video. Cars movie. I Want It And I Want It Now movie. Lip sync videos where we sing along to Newsies, Power Rangers, Mario, etc. Ra Ra Hercules Roberto (guinea-pig) videos. A lady named Ella. Etc.
2001 - Gangster Run starring Red Dog Mickey Morehead. Blair Witch Kids. The Cat's Life movies or episodes starring Honey the cat, Dumb Dumb, etc. Phenomenon movie. And there are probably other videos I'm forgetting about. Maybe a few videos filmed at FGHS (my high school). Biology related rap videos, etc.
2002 - Road Kill movies. Videos at FGHS. Videos at churches, youth groups, Salvation Army, etc. Bill took my camcorder to his high school in Hillsboro. To the Coast. To the Jeffrey's house. I made a few movies featuring toys, stuff animals, real animals, etc. Perhaps some video reports and things for my Marketing class in high school (like the videos I made about Nintendo and maybe even Hulk Hogan). Most of the Arnold Attic videos, length-wise, may be from 2002. Sometimes, I would let classmates borrow my camcorder.
2003 - Yearbook videos. A few other random videos of me and other people too. The end. That is a rough outline.

Video Editing

In regards to the master copies of the Arnold Attic videos, my desire is to keep them in an original form. In other words to simplify what I mean, if the original video was recorded in 480p, then that probably means generally speaking that I should not keep the master copy in 1080p. Why? Because putting a 480p video into a 1080p or 1080i container does not normally nor magically improve the quality of the video. Now, not to say it is impossible to use special video software to do some things. I am not talking about the pursuit to do what George Lucas did to Star Wars with the Special Edition that first time in 1997.

My desire is to keep original master copies of the Arnold Attic videos in chronological order, the formatting of the videos should be preserved and kept to be as close to the original as possible. There may be at least two main problems which I want to address on top of any of the other problems out there. First, the Arnold Attic videos were filmed in analog and then later copied and converted into digital form. I can talk all day about this process and the pros and cons relating to different ways of going about it. I started working on that as early as 1999 or at least by 2000 and 2001 at the latest. There are different ways to convert VHS videos and other things to digital files. My desire is to convert in the best way possible. There has always been a debate between which formats may be better and everything, analog or digital. We can talk for days about that. So, that is a big issue. But on top of that, a secondary issue might be that the best copies I have of these videos are in digital formats. So, I am also thinking about that. I believe in keeping master copies as a starting point. I've been working on this on and off for the past 22 years or so. So, I always have a lot to say about these things. I believe in making random videos too. I believe in all kinds of things. But I also believe in building a base first before branching off to expand upon said base. For some people, focusing too much on that base may appear too excessively boring. I don't desire to remain at the base, the foundation, the master copies, forever. But I believe strongly in finalizing the archives, the original canon, as much as possible, that is before moving on and everything else. To be continued.

I believe all my videos from 1996 and 1997 was from that first camcorder that my brother got from dad. So, my first order of business is doing my best educated guess regarding the exact specs of that first camcorder. I'm talking about the video and audio formats, codecs, the frame rates, the quality, the pixels, the resolution, the exact screen ratio (probably 4:3 or something like that), etc.

My brother got his own camera in 1996 for his 14th birthday from dad. We made videos. But that camcorder started breaking down. The last video we made with was probably in April of 1997. I wanted my own. I made my Christmas wish list. Dad finally got me a camcorder for my 15th birthday in 2000. I made videos with that second camcorder. Quick update, maybe there were two different camcorders in the 1990s. But perhaps the second one that my brother had never worked. So, perhaps that second one doesn't count as far as I know.

But I ended up breaking that second camcorder while trying to write my name inside it. So, I wasn't able to make videos as often. But then dad got me the third camcorder around the summer of 2001. After that, I don't remember if there was possibly other cameras or not. But there were at least three camcorders. Well, maybe there was at least one more around 1996 or after that. But that would be the foundation to the original Attic canon, those three or four camcorders. Two or three of those camcorders recorded to regular VHS tapes. But the middle camcorder I got in 2000 recorded to VHS-C )the smaller tapes which required adapters for playing inside VCRs).

Oh, David Carroll, I remember him on ASOV. He sort of saw me at the park. But not to be confused with an actual classroom setting. Plus, there are many ways to teach. Plus, I act crazy on purpose sometimes. So, he probably saw me act a fool a few times. Many times people only know or want to know the crazy parts. There is probably a long story to all of that. I do many things. I chose to do many things. I don't care if people think I'm crazy. I kind of go out of my way sometimes to let people think I'm crazy. Long story. And it looks like I tricked them into thinking I'm insane. That means I win because I control their brains. Yeah, I see. I looked at all of your screenshots here. They are as expected.

You try different things. Sometimes, you find what works and what might work. The art of searching is full of hit and miss.

There are many different ways of going about a documentary, a biography, or what have you. I would say a documentary series could have story archs or individual episodes centered around themes, topics, subjects, ideas, threads, questions, answers, etc. It would be as challenging as who would play the different versions of Robin Williams. Another episode or group of episodes (story arch) could focus on my work life. @MemesWorld#7258, there are millions of ideas of where you can take the next episode, I can throw a million ideas at you.

Has anybody seen the I Am Joey Arnold video? I made this video. In this video I made 13 years ago, different people say, "I am Joey Arnold." It was filmed mostly in Portland, Oregon. I found it to be a funny idea and I had to do it. So, I got people to say it for my video. This is my Discord group. Did you know I also have groups on Facebook, Telegram, Gab, Minds, Hive, Steemit, etc? @MemesWorld#7258, by the way, in regards to that photo of me and that guy with glasses, there is a story that can be told relating to him and the Vietnamese girl we were with. I have not taken the time to tell this particular story.

@MemesWorld#7258, these annual outlines I published on my blog does a pretty good job summarizing my life in Vietnam. These articles include links to each month I was there. Now, I actually want to go back and write better outlines. But nonetheless, these are the best posts I have at the moment. So, they mention a few people who knew me in Vietnam. They mentioned places I was at. These outlines may not include everything but I did try including as much of the highlights as I could remember. I was working on these outline articles on and off for years. It took a while as I was trying to comment on literally each and every day I was in Vietnam. So, I would work on each month I was in Vietnam and then put together the yearly articles to summarize each set of twelve months. So, I would say, this is the best set of outlines I have currently. This is a pretty good starting point.
