I have decided to try out the Ben Eater 6502 computer kit. To have some fun. On the first day I set up the power supply. There was a power supply included in with the clock module but that's a is a power supple for the USA and not really suitable for Switzerland. So searched for a suitable supply in my box of old power supplies. And indeed I had one. All I needed to do was replace the plug on the DC side. Which I also found in one of the boxes with old electronic stuff.

Check voltage and polarity

Solder on the new plug.

Do notice that I didn't forget to slip the plug's case over the cable. The experience of old age is good for something after all

Attach to the breadboard.

The clock module is optional for the 6502 project but it does enable single step debugging. Or better: single clock cycle debugging. Which is more than unique and something I don't want to miss out on.
