Not sure how many of you know but I am to be as high raw vegan with my diet as I can, maybe around 70 percent. Raw food has far more enzymes in that cooked foods and the idea is you are eating food that is alive, to feel alive. This is a desert I made as a decedent treat this afternoon, with zero sin. I first blended frozen bananas, a few cashew nuts, a drop of water and tiny bit of maple syrup and vanilla to the basis of my nice cream.
For the chocolate sauce I simply melted a little coconut oil (yeah in the uk we have to melt it lol, I know in hot countries its always melted), added some cacao and a little maple syprup and stirred till it was sauce like.
Then I sprinkled a little of my raw cake I made the other day on top. The cake was made with some ground almonds, dates and cacao nibs blended in the blender, I pressed them into a base and on top threw some raspberries, then poured on some raw cacao that I made with raw cacao powder, cacao butter and maple syrup. I always leave these raw cakes in the freezer to have a snack or to crumble onto deserts like this.
haha the coconut oil!! One sticker my daughter placed on the fridge: "Never marinade with coconut oil!"
The freezing point is 24 C, so here it is touch and go if solid or liquid - one can see in shops how some bottles are clear and some white.
Just warm it up in your hands - erm... with the oil still in the bottle!
its pretty solid in the uk even in summer tbh unless its rly June/July / august and exceptionally hot, I used to be rly confused when I saw it in Thailand haha
just logged in on my mums account then by accident.
I am absolutely not a vegan, but that looks fking delicious.
ah love when regular eaters enjoy my stuff then I know I really achieved haha
I need one of these after my vegan rant today hahaha
