Veganism and masculinity. Can real men be vegan?

in vegan •  3 years ago

With all respect; I am a vegan. I was 15 when I decided it wasnt for me to eat animals, and Ive never craved it ever since.
Yet, I still think its everybody's own choice whether they wanna eat meat or not, and it does not make them less or more of a man.

People have different needs, and I think for some it is important to have that animal protein, because their body needs it.

I dont think it makes them less responsible/conscious/open minded/confident or have less will power.

Responsibility can be being responsible for making the right choice for themselves and if it means they need animal protein, than its fine by me. Even of I dont need it to feel good.

Consciousness and being in ones truth has nothing to do with eating meat.
I know many highly conscious man, who speaks and lives their truth, yet eats meat.

I know many man who are amazing, kind, conscious, have will power, etc., yet are meat eaters.

I dont think it has anything to do with meat or not.

Yes, I prefer a man, whos mouth i dont have to lick animal fat out. Yet, if I meet a man who is a meat eater, yet respects me, and fits all my needs in a partner, I really would not mind that their "only flaw" is eating meat.
