Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh.
Let's gain some knowledge about Surah Al-Baqarah verses 91/92.

Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 91 is a verse from the second chapter of the Quran, which is the longest chapter in the Quran.

Surah Al-Baqarah verses 91 is as follows:

"When it is said to them, Believe in what Allah has revealed,' they say, 'We believe in what was revealed to us.' And they disbelieve in what came after it, while it is the truth confirming what is with them. Say, 'Then why did you kill the prophets of Allah before, if you are [indeed] believers?'"

This verse addresses the attitude of the Children of Israel towards their scriptures and the message of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
It highlights their inconsistency in accepting some parts of their own scripture while rejecting others, as well as their rejection of Prophet Muhammad as a messenger of Allah.

The verse begins by presenting a scenario where the Children of Israel are called upon to believe in what Allah has revealed to Prophet Muhammad.
Their response is that they believe in what was revealed to them, referring to the previous revelations given to their prophets, such as the Torah.
However, they reject the Quran, which came after their scriptures, despite the fact that the Quran confirms and authenticates the previous messages.

The verse then challenges their rejection by questioning their actions.
It asks them why they killed the prophets of Allah in the past if they truly believe.
This rhetorical question draws attention to their historical disobedience and rejection of the messengers sent to them by Allah.

Overall, Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 91 emphasizes the importance of consistency in faith and belief.
It criticizes the Children of Israel for selectively accepting and rejecting revelations based on their own desires, rather than sincerely seeking the truth.
The verse also highlights the consequences of such inconsistency, reminding them of their past transgressions against the prophets of Allah.

Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 92 as follows:

"And Moses had certainly brought you clear proofs. Then you took the calf [in worship] after that, while you were wrongdoers."

This verse addresses the incident of the worship of the golden calf by the Children of Israel during the time of Prophet Moses (Musa in Arabic) peace be upon him.

The verse begins by reminding the Children of Israel of the clear and undeniable proofs and signs that Prophet Moses had brought to them from Allah.
These signs included the miraculous parting of the Red Sea, the defeat of the Pharaoh and his army, and the provision of manna and quails in the wilderness.

However, despite witnessing these remarkable miracles and receiving guidance from Prophet Moses, the Children of Israel deviated from the path of monotheism and indulged in the worship of a golden calf.
This act of idolatry was a grave sin and a betrayal of their covenant with Allah.

The verse further highlights that their worship of the golden calf was an act of wrongdoing and disobedience.
It emphasizes the enormity of their mistake and their disregard for the commandments of Allah.

This incident serves as a reminder to the Children of Israel and to believers in general of the importance of remaining steadfast in the worship of Allah alone and avoiding idolatry.
It also serves as a lesson about the consequences of straying from the right path, despite witnessing clear signs and receiving divine guidance.

Overall, Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 92 highlights the failure of the Children of Israel to uphold their commitment to monotheism and the severity of their error in worshiping the golden calf.
It serves as a reminder of the importance of steadfastness in faith and obedience to Allah's commandments.
