Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh.
Let's gain some knowledge about Surah Al-Baqarah verses 113/114.

Surah Al-Baqarah, the second chapter of the Quran, is the longest chapter in the book, consisting of 286 verses.

Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 113, is as follows:

"The Jews say, 'The Christians have nothing [true] to stand on,' and the Christians say, 'The Jews have nothing to stand on,' although they [both] recite the Scripture. Thus the polytheists speak the same as their words. But Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ."

This verse addresses a common dispute and disagreement between the Jews and Christians during the time of the Prophet Muhammad.
The Jews and Christians are portrayed as making claims against each other's religious validity, stating that the other party is not on the right path.
Despite this, both groups are acknowledged for reciting their respective Scriptures, namely the Torah for the Jews and the Gospel for the Christians.

The verse draws attention to the similarity of their arguments and highlights that the polytheists, who associate partners with Allah or hold other false beliefs, also engage in similar disputes and divisions.
The underlying message is that religious disagreements and disputes are not exclusive to any particular faith; rather, they are a broader human tendency.

The verse emphasizes that the ultimate judgment on these matters rests with Allah. It suggests that Allah will determine the truth and resolve the disputes between the Jews and Christians, as well as other conflicting parties, on the Day of Resurrection.
This implies that people should focus on their own conduct and devotion to Allah rather than engaging in fruitless arguments and mutual accusations.

Overall, verse 113 of Surah Al-Baqarah encourages believers to avoid getting entangled in disputes and instead have faith in Allah's wisdom and ultimate judgment.
It promotes tolerance, respect, and the understanding that differences of opinion exist, but the final judgment belongs to Allah alone.

Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 114, is as follows:

"Who is more unjust than one who prevents the name of Allah from being mentioned in His mosques and strives toward their destruction? It is not for them to enter them except in fear. For them in this world is a disgrace, and they will have in the Hereafter a great punishment."

This verse highlights the gravity of preventing the remembrance of Allah and the destruction of His mosques.
It condemns those who actively hinder or prohibit the mentioning of Allah's name within places of worship and who strive to destroy these sacred places.

The verse emphasizes the enormity of such actions by posing a rhetorical question, suggesting that there are few acts more unjust and wicked than preventing the mention of Allah's name in His mosques.
Mosques are essential spaces for Muslims to gather, worship, and remember Allah. By impeding these activities and seeking to destroy mosques, individuals commit great injustice and transgression.

The verse also states that those who engage in such actions should only enter mosques in a state of fear, indicating that they will face consequences for their actions.
In this world, they will experience disgrace and dishonor due to their immoral behavior.
Moreover, in the Hereafter, they will face severe punishment from Allah.

This verse serves as a warning against any act that disrupts the worship of Allah desecrates sacred spaces, or aims to destroy mosques.
It emphasizes the importance of respecting religious freedom, allowing the remembrance of Allah to take place, and preserving places of worship.

Furthermore, it encourages believers to uphold the sanctity of mosques, ensuring that they remain places of tranquility, prayer, and devotion.
The verse also underscores the principle of accountability, reminding individuals that their actions have consequences both in this world and in the Hereafter.

Overall, verse 114 of Surah Al-Baqarah highlights the significance of protecting and honoring places of worship, and it serves as a reminder of the dire consequences for those who engage in acts that obstruct the remembrance of Allah and seek to destroy mosques.
