Life has filled me with many joys, among them being able to travel through almost all the states of my beautiful Venezuela, some trips I have been able to make with my beautiful and beloved wife, others already when our children were born, but they were still small. Several years have already passed since those vacation trips, which have generated a recurrent dream in my thoughts: I want to do several of those trips again so that my children, who are already older, can enjoy them and value them much more.
Ride in our vehicle, with bags for at least fifteen days and money in our accounts and wallets. The first stop would be in Caracas, our Capital, arriving at the hotel and going for a walk through the shopping malls, having dinner in one of its fairs, returning to the room to rest and waking up early to leave for beautiful Guanare, Portuguese State, where we will rest and when waking up we will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Coromoto. From there we will continue our journey until we arrive to the city of the gentlemen, the beautiful Merida, where we will have dinner surely taking one or two cups of a rich hot chocolate. Did you know that in my Venezuela the best chocolate in the world is cultivated? Well, yes, and we will try it at all our stops.
We'll wake up and go to one of the theme parks and I'll be ready to laugh at how much fun my kids are going to have. When we finish our walk, we will go back to our room to rest and go out the next day to another theme park; I think there are three parks to visit. Another day we will go to the city zoo and we also have to leave a date to go up the Mukumbari cable car, the highest in the world at over 4700 meters above sea level and with a 12.5 km route it is the second longest in the world, only 500 meters from the first one source.
On our way out we will stay at a tourist hotel called La Trucha Azul, where they prepare a delicious Pisca Andina (typical dish of the area) and a delicious hot chocolate, besides having beautiful facilities. We will pass by El Aguila Peak located at an altitude of 4,118 meters above sea level and guess what: there we will also drink hot chocolate.
We will leave the cold of the Venezuelan Andes, to go up to the city of San Felipe, our stop before going to the beautiful city of Coro, Falcon state and enjoy its spectacular Medanos, a small desert within the city. In Falcon we will go to the northernmost land end of our country, the Cape of San Roman, located in the Paraguana Peninsula. From Falcon we will return to Caracas and from there to the beautiful Colonia Tovar, to continue enjoying hot chocolate and strolling through its characteristic streets and shopping area. We will go back to sleep in Caracas, because we want to go up to the Teleferico de Caracas and visit the little town of El Hatillo. Surely on the way we will place other destinations, before returning to our home happy to have had such a wonderful walk through our beautiful Venezuela.
