It was pretty grey sky most of the day today and colder. My son and I did manage to get out to our favorite disc golf course but the city had closed the road off. I'm not sure if the river was flooding again or what.
We did manage to go to another local eighteen hole course we had not played in a long time. They had just had a work party fixing it up and the course was very playable today. There were a few homeless people around but they were friendly and seemed interested in the game. We saw a lot of their stuff in various places around the course. There were blankets and possessions and some food items.
It seems like a terribly cold and rainy time to be out in the weather right now. As I'm writing this it is windy and raining off and on again.
The disc golf round went nicely and we scored well considering how long it was since we had been playing the course. We did not have to look for discs and that was a plus considering all of the rough areas on the course.
Hole thirteen was completely unplayable though. The only way to do it was to possibly make really short tosses up a narrow path but the area was lined with bramble bushes and any missed line would have resulted in a lost disc. My son remarked that it probably would play as a par eight and I tend to agree although maybe a par six would be my guess.
This picture was taken a few days ago during a rare sunshine incedent, lol:
I've heard that dust is partly the result of cosmic dust and debris settling into the earth's atmosphere. As such I've decided is best not to disturb it, lol. (Well, at least not too often.)
