My Actifit Report Card: December 10 2020

in ulog •  4 years ago

The old guys took on the young guys at the local disc golf course today. We played a best shot doubles round at my favorite eighteen basket course.

Naturally the old guys cleaned house and won with a fairly significant lead, lol. The young guys had some issues part way through the round and took to razzing their own teamates. You would think they would have a fairly significant advantage based on the fact that the distance they were capable of throwing was much farther than the old guys. It goes to show you it is not always distance, or skill that wins the match. (Maybe the old guys got lucky, lol.)

Anyhow, we played a couple of rounds and had a lot of fun today.

This is a blend of a couple of pictures that I took recently:

I made it in GIMP. It is a fall into winter at dawn picture.

Thanks for reading! I always value your support and comments. The pictures were taken by me with my Galaxy S9+. Text and graphics copyright lightsplasher & litesplasher.

Gimp does such cool things! Love the edit and you picked perfect leaves!

Love that you are still golfing!

Thank you! Photoshop is actually easier to use for masking than GIMP plus you can rotate the image a do a lot more cool stuff. It is just a lot harder for me to use now because I don't have a modern version of Windows and generally only use Linux. I've not been into doing things as much anymore and have kind of forgotten a lot of the shortcuts. You really can't beat GIMP's price though and hopefully they will continue developing it. I'm actually a few versions down and have to check out the latest GIMP version.
