Friday: Most significant day for me and all other muslims

Today is Friday. The most important day of the week. Today is Friday. Basically, today is a very important day for the Muslim community. Muslim men today try to pray with the Jamaat in the mosque.

আজ শুক্রবার। সপ্তাহের সব থেকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দিন। আজ জুম্মাবার।মুলত মুসলমান সমাজের জন্য আজকের দিনটা অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। মুসলিম পুরুষরা আজকের দিনটাতে চেষ্টা করে মসজিদে জামায়াতের সাথে সালাত আদায় করতে।

Friday is one of my favorite days of the week. Basically, in Bangladesh, Friday is considered as a holiday. So I spend this day praying with Kalam and my family. This is the only day of the week when I can give time to my family and take some rest on my own.

শুক্রবার দিনটা পুরো সপ্তাহের দিনগুলোর মধ্যে আমারও অনেক প্রিয় একটা দিন। মুলত বাংলাদেশে শুক্রবার দিনটা ছুটির দিন হিসেবে বিবেচিত।তাই এই দিনটা আমার কাটে নামাজ কালাম আর পরিবারের সাথে।সপ্তাহে এই একটা দিনই পাই যেদিন আমি আমার পরিবারকে সময় দিতে পারি এবং নিজে একটু বিশ্রাম নিতে পারি।

I wake up on Friday morning and perform Fajr prayers. Then only on this day I take care of my hobby garden. We clean and water the weeds in the garden. In my garden but not limited to flower trees. I also planted some vegetable trees on one side of my garden. So every Friday my house breakfast is arranged with vegetables from my garden.

শুক্রবারে সকাল সকাল ঘুম থেকে উঠে ফজরের নামাজ আদায় করে নিই।এরপর শুধু এই দিনটিতে আমি আমার সখের বাগানের পরিচর্যা করি।বাগানের আগাছা গুলো পরিষ্কার করে পানি দিই।আমার বাগানটাতে কিন্তু শুধু ফুল গাছ দিয়ে সীমাবদ্ধ নয়।আমার বাগানের একপাশে আমি কিছু সবজির গাছও লাগিয়েছি।তাই প্রতি শুক্রবার আমার বাগানের সবজি দিয়ে আমাদের বাড়ির সকালের খাবারের ব্যবস্থা করা হয়।

My father and brother go to the mosque to perform the Friday prayers and the masters give khutbah there. It is the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to dress well and eat well on Fridays.

আমার বাবা আর ভাই মসজিদে জুম্মার সালাত আদায় করতে যায় এবং ওখানে হুজুররা খুৎবা দেয়। জুম্মার দিনে ভালো পোশাক পড়া ও ভালো খাবার খাওয়া আমাদের হযরত মোহাম্মদ (সাঃ) এর সুন্নত।
