This morning, the occupiers shelled Odeshchyna with cruise missiles, in particular, the village of Zatoka. Ukrainians know what "Zatoka" is, because most of them went here to rest on the Black Sea. It is not news that the Russians themselves gladly came to the "Russian-speaking" region and spent their vacations in Odesa, in particular, in Zatoka. Ukrainian service and prices suited the Russians, and communication in their language was not difficult.
I have been to the Odesa region more than once, and I understand that in these regions it made no sense to "save" the Russian-speaking population, because it was the Russian language that sounded all around here. However, Odesa, Odesa region, Zatoka are Ukraine.
Rockets hit private buildings in coastal settlements. As a result, fires broke out, which the emergency services immediately went to fight. At the moment, the fire has been extinguished.
After this attack by the Russians on Zatok, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, posted a video of the consequences of the shelling on his social networks. He also wrote:
"Morning. An ordinary Zatoka village. People rested and lived. Just lived.
No bases, no troops. It's just that terrorists from the Russian Federation WANT TO SHOOT. They will be responsible for everything.

Сьогодні вранці окупанти обстріляли крилатими ракетами Одещину, зокрема, селище Затока. Українці знають, що таке "Затока", тому що більшість їздило відпочивати сюди на Чорне море. Не новиною є і те, що й самі росіянці з радістю приїжджали в "російськомовний" регіон і проводили свої відпустки на Одещині, зокрема, в Затоці. Український сервіс та ціни влаштовували росіянців, та й спілкування їх мовою не складало труднощів.
Я була в Одеській області не раз, і розумію, що в цих регіонах не було сенсу "рятувати" російськомовне населення, адже тут кругом звучала саме російська мова. Проте Одеса, Одеська область, Затока - це Україна.
Ракети влучили у приватні будівлі прибережних населених пунктів. В результаті виникли пожежі, з якими одразу виїхали боротись служби ДСНС. На даний момент, пожежі ліквідовано.
Після цієї атаки росіянців на Затоку, Президент України Володимир Зеленський розмістив у своїх соцмережах відео з наслідками обстрілів. Також він написав:
"Ранок. Звичайне село Затока. Люди відпочивали та жили. Просто жили. Ні баз, ні військ. Просто терористам з РФ ЗАХОТІЛОСЯ ПОСТРІЛЯТИ. За все відповідатимуть. Кожен. Кожен «освободітєль», який руйнує наше життя."
