I think the thesis here is wrong. It assumes totalitarianism is a new phenomenon and that the spiritual dimension of politics is also some new phenomenon.
I remind the reader that older totalitarian states were even based on religious premises, be they Egyptian Pharaohs or the divine right of kings, many dynasties throughout world history elevated their tyranny as an expression of divine order. This human stupidity is not new.
What we are seeing is not something new, but a rejection of the liberal and secular idea that Church and State should be separated. That may be rational but has been shown to be psychologically naive. The irony is that the new tyrannies become Godless theocracies.
The mercantile bankster class has, over centuries, destroyed monarchies and killed God, only to then install the simplest of all tyrants: the divine king. And that is due to a psychological flaw in the whole species.
The various quotes from Carl Jung are far closer to the core problem than political commentators.
At the start:
“The State takes the place of God…the socialist dictatorships are religions and State slavery is a form of worship.” Carl Jung, The Undiscovered Self.
Near the end:
“Where are the superior minds, capable of reflection, today? If they exist at all, nobody heeds them: instead there is a general running amok, a universal fatality against whose compelling sway the individual is powerless to defend himself. And yet this collective phenomenon is the fault of the individual as well, for nations are made up of individuals. Therefore the individual must consider by what means he can counter the evil.” Carl Jung, Civilization in Transition (1964).
What is your solution?
Do you know that the holy scriptures tells us that Pharoah use to proclaim that they were god and people of their dynasty should worship him as god.
The prophet Musa in Islam or Moses from Bible was the one who fought against Pharoah who proclaimed to be god.
So in my opinion government in today's world is also doing something similar , they don't proclaim to be god but you will find people worshipping them. Take the example of north korea where people look their dictatorship as pure soul or take example of my country India you will see people worshipping Modi , they see him as Saviour.
There is no saviour or messiah for us who will come and save us and the solution is to go against these people in power. But is that possible , i have seen how we ( students ) were beaten up here just because we were protesting against a law brought by government in power.
I don't know if you know about C.A.A and N.R.C protest that took place in India. That was the time i lost total believe in democracy and that was the time when my eyes were opened.
Destruction is coming , it will destroy the good and the bad as well.
Ignoring the false existence of santa clause is a major first step but not without realizing that Santa is not real.
Sure the weapons "they" have, the buildings, jails, the police, military, etc are all very real, but none of which defines what "government" actually is.
Took me to the age of 19 to realize this fact. Could say the mythological giant (gov) is the Trojan horse and the soldiers inside is the rule by force factor. The ones giving the suspicious gift are the evil preachers passing on their new (not new but ancient) religion. Troy can then be the mind or the conciousness. The gates opened to recieve this "gift" could be rational thought or logic. Opened gate because logic is being put aside.
Beware strange gifts.
Interesting you shld mention santa - I taught my own kid santa was a fairytale joke. She told her friends - her friends cried and her teachers got angry. lol. Now that's revealing. As I suspected, teach a human child to believe useless bollox and you can then teach the adult-child more dangerous bollox.
Primed to believe.
EXACTLY!
You hit the nail dead center.
It will also make children lose confidence in their parents as truth tellers. again, not a bad thing either as almost everything is subjective, but too much of it and you lose grip of a healthy relationship.
I don't think there is a solution.
I think there is need to educate people to the cycles of governance and how they evolve....and they aslways evolve pretty much the same.
Once people really understand the cyclical nature that always emerges from governance structures (iron law of oligarchy, blah blah),the worst element of it will never be allowed to grow. Limited government, for example, will be a something people are very conscious of - and very wary of any change that could lead to the growing of that limited government.
People's lack of awareness is the problem, not the governance structures themselves - they will /have always/ existed.
Aim for 'perfect libertarianism' in principals , and pragmatically accept ultra-small government.
Expecting anything more is to misunderstand the vast majority of people's desires - which is not 'ultimate freedom', but 'enough freedom' , which in every day life, is nothing more than being able to work, earn, and spend your own money - the fruit of your labors - as you see fit....
Hierarchies exist, always have, always will do - the only way to mitigate the evolution into toxicity (authoritarianism/totalitarianism), is through wide spread philosophical and political, awareness from a young age.
Hierarchies are always gonna happen, cycles are always 'gonna cycle' - understanding and accepting this dynamic as a 'law of nature', will change everything.
Plato wrote about this, so is not exactly news - hence not exactly sure how many more centuries needed for the majority to understand it.
As you say, ultimately it is a question of understanding and awareness - the politics is a consequence of the psychology. And, I don't think much of the average mind - indeed, this whole tyranny shows this isn't even about intelligence, but something else - self-agency? non-believing? bloody-minded individualism?
For people to understand it, they need to be exposed to it in the first place (from an early age).....that would make a big difference.
I agree with you re:'the average mind' - as is.... I also think 'the average mind' could become much higher - on average - with just using the right tools at a young age (I'm an eternal optimist lol).
Imagine a generation of young adults who were taught how to think and encouraged to be creative - since they were 5 or 6 year old ?
That would change everything.
That is how I bring up my own kid - people's reactions are a mixture of astonishment and fear. And that strikes me as a mixture of hope and hopelessness. One of my nieces is also frighteningly bright and lucid - sadly, I see little of her.
Is there a secret? Imagination, language, logic, meditation, psychology, playfulness, investigation. ;-)
The "How do you know?" Game.
Followed up by the "How can you know?"
As a individual , create a ripple . ;-)
I like that. When an individual says no, they effect in a small but important way the entire world and all of history.
Yes, a wave...
one of the deeply esoteric consequences of Persinger's work is his calculations that thoughts can hitch a ride on the natural carrier frequencies and hence spread around the world. ;-)
Synthetic mobile frequencies are designed to stop this happening.
It is an amusing dilemma that trying to organise independent minds is very much like herding cats. It seems like both our strength and weakness - weakness in the face of tyrants and their entranced minions.
Let's keep playing with the words - words are important as they create thoughts - and thus both words and thoughts can spread.
I was recently thinking of using the term TheDrop - in the sense of the moments before the splash and before the waves spread out. Could be bollox tho!
When the water rises and your feet loose contact with the ground .
The world will put more weight on you to keep you down .
Refuse that weight and float away , learn to swim and splash around .
For it is only on the surface that we can create waves of any influence .
Blowing bubbles from below might seem to do something ,
is it not that for real it is just a sign of fear and drowning .
The drop , that moment between letting go and hitting the surface .
That moment of uncertainty , like how high was i , am i above water , is it deep enough , or is it even water at all . I see no bollocks in that ,.. the drop is a real thing .
;-)
Thanks :-)
you got it! indeed, many "intermediate" states count as TheDrop, the transition states that somehow, very few look at.
Like falling over - for toddlers it's easy - then we learn how not to fall over - but then we forget what it's like - then we no longer can.
The solution, I think, is for each of us to ignore the governments that rule us and force us to live in boxes by telling us that only the boxes exist, and to live according to our own innate intelligences, in line with nature's principles, not man's. It won't be easy. Sometimes we will have to fight. But the more of us who do this now, the sooner the agonies of this change will be over.

many find the solution by going 'off grid' as in rejecting the whole of society. I've been trying to do it little by little. Living on a boat was the nearest I've got to 'off the grid' but found that the grid came looking for us. Countries like Mexico are another option where no-one takes any notice of 'government'.
It’s pretty damn expensive to live off the grid here in Canada. I have been pricing out solar and batteries, and other systems for 20 years now. I still can’t afford to go off the grid. I guess we could try to live with out electricity or internet but then I won’t be able to blog here on Blurt ... no blog, no food. We need propane and the price of propane is skyrocketing. We will have to chop down all the trees to heat our place over the winter. But who wants to live on 100 acres with no trees ???
I think the trick is to downgrade, ie sell ur house and live in a tiny hut. A boat costs equivalent of a car so plenty of money left over to sort out free electricity. Livving in a house on the grid then going off grid is probably not feasible for most. I'm thinking more like indigenous peoples lives as an example. Living in tents, beiing nomadic which is exactly what TPTB have been stopping for a long time. We've all been locked into out little boxes and don't know how to live like we used to.
the cartels here in mexico take advantage of the indigenous people here. Turn them into slaves. I always try to buy their things that they make and sell. their teas, and donate when I can. I have befriended a few and their lifes stories are harsh as fuck.
Yeh same story everywhere in the world, it's a sad story. They would have been better off if they never got dragged out of the forest where they were happily getting along but got in the way of the tree felling I suppose.
All the greenies talk about 'rewilding' areas, like reintroducing wolves and bears but it's too late for the people.
I find those attempts iseless. Nsture will take care of itself. We should focus on awakening those that are capable of awaking. Help those who can help the selves only (or else suffer the consecuencias for helping leaches)
That's kinda my philosophy too :-)
The indigenous people were allowed to burn firewood and kill as many moose and deer as they needed to feed their families and make warm clothing …
yes but they only took what they needed, they didn't go killing whole herds to make a quick buck.
Yes …. Downsize is the key. But it is difficult to get through the winters in Canada without a lot of fuel or fire wood when the temperature drops to -55 Celsius
Yeah... tents... like Siberian nomads.
Need to move away before frozen to death.
There is only one God,
And and no government be a God,
They can torture us,
They can force us,
They can burn us,
They can trample us,
They can beat us brutely,
They can arrest us forcefully,
They can detain us aimlessly,
They can hang us unkindly.
But never can be God,
We never admit them as God,
Today, they have power,
But tomorrow, they will be removed.
Today, they are rulers,
But tomorrow, they will common men.
That's all!
I agree with you brother , they will never be god. It is how world works the person in power today will lose the power someday and someone else will be in power the other day.
Big good rulers and bad rulers both have their day like Pharoah died in humiliation infront of the people who worshipped him , they too died in River neil.
We don't accept them as god for sure but there are people who are looking them up as nothing less then god.
Thank u
What about an Islamic theocracy, like Iran, or Saudi?
thoughts?
The legendary preacher of Islam, Ahmed Didat (ra) and his worthy disciple Zakir Naik (Hafizahullah) often threw or gave a challenge to the followers of Christianity, and that is: show only one place from the Bible where Jesus [Jesus (pbuh)] himself says - "I am God" or "Worship me". If such a thing is not found anywhere in the whole Bible, then what is the point of calling Jesus God?
Pharaoh not only claimed the existence of God, but also claimed to be the Lord of the heavens and the earth. That is, his brain became so bad that he publicly claimed before the world, 'I am the creator of the heavens and the earth.' And his people were so mad that they believed his claim. pharaoh had destroyed for this reason.
in present you see, Bangladesh ,India, turkey, north Korea, Russia, and many others country's people think that their governor is god. Although their governor does not say it. But the governor presents himself in this way through words and deeds. And by it started quarrel. after that ,government is destroyed by it .
So in my opinion government in today's world is also doing something similar , they don't proclaim to be god but you will find people worshiping them.
I think people need to be educated about the cycle of governance and how they evolve. And they always evolve in the same way.Classification exists, has always existed, will always exist - the only way to alleviate the toxicity of evolution is through a wide range of philosophical and political, awareness from an early age.
For people to understand this, they have to come in contact with it from an early age. It will make a big difference.Today they are rulers, But tomorrow they will be ordinary people. That's it!
all the governors of the history who claimed to be god were destroyed. and the people who worship the governor.
