Yesterday was scorching! so a friend and I went to the coast. Camber sands and Fairlight is one of my favourites in the Uk, after cornwall beaches. Because it is one of those rare places that has a beautiful beach and a town with enough going on.
I obviously look as summery as every in all black!
whilst my friend looks like she is on a summer holiday.
You access the beach via a secret path I really don't think you would ever find had I not been given directions on a prior trip by a friend who lives close by. I think it might be a naturist beach lol hence why it's so quiet and has no one on it. Access is by a steep slope and a rope, which actually adds to the adventure.
The sea was just warm enough to have a quick dip.
We then went into Rye town to maybe my favourite coffee shop called Knooops, where they do mochas and real chocolate milks with a huge choice of chocolates and flavours. Choosing is the hardest part! I like dark so I had 85 % with fresh lavender.
When you are used to City living and busy roads these country roads are one of the most amazing things!
We then went onto Camber sands which, is a beautiful sandy beach with sand dunes and is a little quieter after 7!
Looks like a wonderful day spend on a beautiful beach and your favorite coffee we all need them days :)
I like Camber Sands. Good idea for a nice sunny day.. especially not that it's probably not so busy, unlike in summer. Bit of a drive though.
