Beautiful rainbow

I took a visit to emmets garden, it’s another national trust property, I’ve been really trying to tour as many as I can since I got my membership. I actually love being a member of the National Trust because I actually like the charity as well as the places . Everyone charity has its faults, but I think it’s really amazing that these old houses and grounds and sites are kept for us all to enjoy for generations to come.

The house and land was purchased in 1890 by Frederic Lubbock, a banker and passionate plantsman and was eventually given to the national trust in 1964. It’s just a garden with no house but was a nice place to have a wonder round and a coffee as it’s right next to where I collect my spring water. I only got a couple of shots but will edit the video soon!

What an investment and what a lovely initiative taken by an individual. It is inspiring to see such places with such background and it's a pride to see them serving and conserved.
