We went to visit one of our friends in Oxford yesterday and had a full day of sight seeing! there is a lot to do here for free too lots of free museums which act as a perfect warm up in these winter months!
Oxford is a beautiful city well known for its stunning architecture and its high class university.
This is the Radcliffe Camera which, was built between 1737 and 1749, and it sits at 140ft tall. The library was first built to hold scientific and general books for Oxford University, but these collections were eventually moved to other libraries within the University. Today it holds a section of the English literature section. It was originally designed by architect James Gibbs.
This is called the bridge of sighs, named due to its similarity to the better known Bridge of Sighs in Venice.
This has to be the poshest Pret A Manger in the Uk!
