Ice sculptures / Eisskulpturen

The open spaces of the ethno village are decorated with ice sculptures. They tell a bit of the culture of the Yakuts, who call themselves Sacha.

Die Freiflächen des Ethno Dorfes sind mit Skulpturen aus Eis bestückt. Sie erzählen von der Kultur der Jakuten, die sich selbst als Sacha bezeichnen.

If the ice blocks were made of wood, it could pass as a pyre. So it is probably an object to capture the rays of light from the sun and collect them in the upper ritual vessel.

Würden die Eisblöcke aus Holz sein könnte es als Scheiterhaufen durchgehen. So ist es wahrscheinlich ein Objekt um die Lichtstrahlen der Sonne einzufangen und im oberen Ritualgefäß zu sammeln.

At the chapel there are two steles with horse heads, and an eagle can be seen at the top. An allusion to the connection between Yakut and Russian culture.

An der Kapelle stehen zwei Stelen mit Pferdeköpfen, oben ist jeweils ein Adler zu sehen. Eine Anspielung an die Verbindung von jakutischer und russischer Kultur.

And finally a double bench that invites you to let the sun shine into your hair, right?

Und zum Schluß noch eine Doppelsitzbank die einlädt sich die Sonne ins Haar scheinen zu lassen, oder?
