Doors and more ice / Türen und mehr Eis

In the ethno village the old techniques are shown to save them from extinction. The bark of various trees is used generously. Since the trees do not freeze to death at -60 degrees, parts are used to protect people in this climate.

Im Ethno Dorf werden die alten Techniken gezeigt um sie vor dem Aussterben zu bewahren. Rinde verschiedener Bäume wird großzügig verbaut. Da die Bäume bei -60 Grad nicht erfrieren werden Teile benutzt um auch den Menschen Schutz in diesem Klima zu bieten.

The same applies to skins. At this door I had the feeling it radiates warmth.

Mit Fellen wird ähnlich verfahren. Bei dieser Türe hatte ich das Gefühl sie strahlt Wärme aus.

In an all-wooden house with many rooms, an escape plan is quite helpful.

In einem komplett aus Holz gebauten Haus mit vielen Räumen ist ein Fluchtplan recht hilfreich.

After so much culture, it's time to relax a little. So up on the slide, made of ice of course.

Nach so viel Kultur wird es Zeit für ein wenig Entspannung. Also rauf auf die Rutsche, natürlich aus Eis.

A mat is not necessary, the ice is smooth as glass and so cold that the clothes cannot get damp. That was really quick and fun!

Eine Unterlage ist nicht nötig, das Eis ist spiegelglatt und so kalt dass die Kleidung nicht feucht werden kann. Das war richtig schnell und spaßig!

At the end of the run you could even watch the grass grow under a thick layer of ice. Yakutia is full of surprises.

Am Ende des Auslaufs konnte man sogar dem Gras beim Wachsen zusehen, unter einer dicken Eisschicht. Jakutia steckt voller Überraschungen.
