History of Hubbul Wathan Mosque
Hubbul Wathan Mosque Islamic Center Mataram or Islamic Center Mataram is a regional mosque of West Nusa Tenggara Province located in the center of Mataram City, the capital of West Nusa Tenggara Province.
As a regional mosque, this mosque is only as old as corn. But even so, this mosque has now become one of the landmarks of NTB Province.
The Islamic Center Mataram was built on March 9, 2010 and completed on December 15, 2013 which was marked by the inauguration by the then NTB Governor TGB. H.M. Zainul Majdi.
Sejarah Masjid Hubbul Wathan
Masjid Raya Hubbul Wathan Islamic Center Mataram atau Islamic Center Mataram merupakan masjid Daerah Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat yang terletak di pusat Kota Mataram, Ibukota Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat.
Sebagai masjid daerah, usia masjid ini baru seumur jagung lho. Namun meskipun begitu, masjid ini sekarang sudah menjadi salah satu landmark Provinsi NTB.
Islamic Center Mataram ini dibangun pada tanggal 9 Maret 2010 dan selesai pada 15 Desember 2013 yang ditandai dengan diresmikannya oleh Gubernur NTB saat itu TGB. H.M. Zainul Majdi.
Building Splendor
The Islamic Center Mataram Mosque building has a beautiful splendor. In general, this mosque was built with 4 floors. Because of its grandeur, the building area of this mosque reaches 36,000 m.
Not only magnificent, this mosque also looks very beautiful and bright. This cannot be separated from the color of the building which is dominated by tosca, yellow and white colors.
In addition, there are interesting things in the dome. The dome of this building has a decoration in the form of a typical batik motif from the West Nusa Tenggara region, namely the Sasambo batik motif, which is not found in other mosques in Lombok.
Kemegahan Bangunan
Bangunan Masjid Islamic Center Mataram ini memiliki kemegahan yang indah. Secara umum masjid ini dibangun dengan 4 lantai. Saking megahnya, luas bangunan masjid ini mencapai 36.000 m.
Tak hanya megah, masjid ini juga terlihat sangat indah dan cerah. Hal ini tak lepas dari warna bangunannya yang didominasi dengan warna-warna tosca, kuning, dan putih.
Selain itu, ada hal yang menarik di bagian kubah. Kubah bangunan ini memiliki hiasan berupa motif batik khas dari daerah Nusa Tenggara Barat, yaitu motif batik sasambo, yang tidak ada di masjid lainnya di Lombok.
Charming Interior
If you look inside the mosque, on the ceiling you will see the beauty of Sasak weaving motifs that surround the dome frame.
Then, the sasambo batik cloth typical of West Nusa Tenggara becomes a blue layer on a very large lamp. The combination of motifs and colors looks very charming.
Not to forget, the choice of golden color on the pulpit of the mosque, contrasting with the red color of the carpet, so that it has a luxurious impression that radiates.
This mosque also has good lighting, because it has very many window openings on each floor.
Interiornya Menawan
Jika menilik kedalam masjid, pada bagian langit-langit Anda akan melihat keindahan motif-motif tenun Sasak yang mengelilingi rangka kubah.
Kemudian, kain batik sasambo khas Nusa Tenggara Barat menjadi lapisan berwarna biru pada lampu yang berukuran sangat besar. Perpaduan motif dan warnanya terlihat sangat menawan.
Tak ketinggalan, pemilihan warna keemasan pada bagian mimbar masjid, kontras dengan warna merah pada karpet, sehingga memiliki kesan mewah yang terpancar.
Masjid ini juga memiliki pencahayaan yang bagus, karena memiliki bukaan jendela yang sangat banyak disetiap lantainya.
The Minarets
Well, this mosque has 5 towering minarets. One of the towers has a height of 99 m, which symbolizes Asmaul husna.
Interestingly, the tower can be climbed by anyone. To be able to climb to the top of the tower, you are only required to pay a ticket of 5K. Take it easy, you don't need to be tired of climbing stairs, because this tower has an elevator facility.
As far as the eye can see from a height, you will see beautiful domes poking out from a series of roofs of houses and buildings. Therefore, it is not wrong if Lombok Island is nicknamed as the Island of 1000 Mosques.
Nah, masjid ini memiliki 5 menara yang menjulang tinggi. Salah satu menaranya memiliki ketinggian yang mecapai 99 m, yang melambangkan Asmaul husna.
Yang menarik, menara tersebut dapat dinaiki siapapun. Untuk bisa naik ke atas menara, Anda hanya diwajibkan membayar tiket sebesar 5K. Tenang saja, Anda tak perlu capek-capek naik tangga, karena menara ini memiliki fasilitas lift.
