If you are interested in Ancient History… even your own family you should do one of those DNA tests that will show where your ancient ancestors come from.
They have a sale on at Family Tree DNA for $59 that will give you a map showing your ancient origins … mine came back as mostly European… Italy, France, Germany but also 2% Malta , 2% Native American and a small % Jewish …
Malta ? Where is Malta ?
I got my parents to do theirs to get more detail … they are both in their 80’s…
My mom’s came back as 4 % Native American (Ojibwe), 4% Malta and both have a small % of Jewish… Ashkenazi, Sephardic and Mizrahi … now I want to find out where that comes from…. I have a bunch of Germans in my Tree that must have been crypto or Converso Jewish.
Maybe also in Italy or Malta ? Now I need to travel to Malta….
