I feel Bangkok has a very contrasting lifestyle, while on one side it has the most luring and flashy nightlife which most of the people visit here for, and on the other hand it is full of Temples and all of them are in such beautiful and serene environment that you really wonder at times when you visit them, Is that Bangkok?
This was when we had free travels and life was so much full of freedom, On my trip to Bangkok a visit made to the "Pathum Wanaram" Temple. Later on I also visited the most famous Reclining Buddha Temple, but that temple was a complete Tourist attraction. Full of people, though there was silence inside the temple, but when there are so many people in there clicking pictures and moving around the whole energy of the place feels disturbed. You cannot really sit and chant or do meditation in such a hustle bustle environment, and since there is so much rush of public it is not even possible to be in there for a very long time. The crowd needs to keep moving.
The "Pathum Wanaram" Temple was a sheer delight to visit. The sanctity of the place is maintained very well. There was a dress code to adhere to like any other Temple.
The Sun rays falling on these idols, it is such a beautiful sight
In this space there are many Temple buildings and each one has it's own significance.
This is a smaller Temple where also you can sit and Meditate. I felt the energy here was much stronger than the main meditation hall.
The main Meditation hall. Looks magnificent
The whole place gave out a lot of positive energy and vibes. It was so peaceful to sit in the temple and Meditate for a while. A delightful experience to be here in this place.
