This is one memorable trip of my life. A 10 days vacation to Greece, covering Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. These are some of the famous destinations of Greece, specially Mykonos which is also known for it's night party life. Athens is one of the ancient cities of the world. In history books also there is mention about this place and the great people of this place like Alexander, Socrates, Plato and many more. I am always fascinated with places that are rich in history. Studying them in books and seeing them in real life is a very big difference. When you see these places you feel like you are doing some time travel in the past.
Athens have lot of places to visit, but the 2 most important ones are the Monastiraki Square and the Acropolis and Pantheon. The site of Acropolis and Pantheon is huge, if there is time then it's ideal to spread it out in 2 days else it would become a little rush. I did it in one day so it was a little hectic for me.
Let me share with you some pictures of Athens city today.
The excitement was high, I had arrived and checked in to my hotel at around 3 p.m. in Athens and after settling down in the room, immediately in an hour I left to visit the most famous place of the city Monastiraki Sqaure. This is where all the action happens in the city.
