Midnight Flight is very painful

Last night I travelled from Muscat to Mumbai. I normally prefer a day time flight because it's much more convenient in every way. Night flight disturbs my body clock completely and while some prefer it because they get the full day at hand, but I become like a zombie if I do not get my proper 7 hrs of night sleep.

Thankfully the flight was peaceful, no hassle all the way. No PCR test requirement also, so that was one another ease after a long time. My major worry was at the Mumbai airport because I had heard lot of stories of passengers who were troubled at the airport. Thankfully we came out very smooth just like normal times, and it did not feel anything like Covid, except for the announcements which kept going on.

It's a short 2.5 hrs flight so it's all the more painful, because you cannot sleep also, just about the time when I got sleep it was time to land. I was completely disoriented for few moments when the announcement of landing came up. I wanted to sleep but could not. I reached home by 7.30 a.m. and just about in 15 mins I went to bed and slept off. Could only get 4 hrs of sleep, because day time there is too much disturbance. Tonight is one of my friend's engagement ceremony so I need to go there and I guess it will be a late night, so probably I may not get my desired sleep tonight as well. Anyways just being back home is a good feeling and that kind of relaxes me.

Waiting at the airport for boarding the aircraft. I look so happy right? It's the joy of coming back home which I always look forward to.

I always love the airport scenes, but just that with this Covid hassles these days I feel scary to travel. You never know when things change and you get caught up in some nuisance.

I am going to keep it short today, as I still need to do loads of unpacking and space cleaning. As such my son is permanently staying here, but then you understand how a boy would manage the place. I always get many surprises when I come back home. So the next 2 days will end up in cleaning, clearing and fixing up things.
