This is one beautiful memory from my holiday to Egypt. I always wanted to see this wonder of the world once in my life time and we made this family holiday plan of 2 weeks to Egypt, covering a lot of places. Our flight had landed in Cairo in the evening and by the time all the formalities were completed and we were on our way to the hotel it was the sunset hour. We had requested our tour operator to book our hotel somewhere near the Pyramids. He booked us a very good hotel which gave us the direct view of the pyramids from our room itself. Though it was far that excitement was still there. And imagine something that you have always wanted to see and now is right in front of you, how that feeling is.
This was a very special holiday because it was for the very first time that I had also booked this holiday package through a tour operator, else for all my holidays I do everything myself. I was pretty relaxed because I did not have to worry about anything, all was taken care off by the tour guy. In Egypt it was required to go through the tour operator, because language can become a challenge. Also the public transport facility is not very convenient. There are good train connections but I just found everything very complicated, so it was best to go with some local guidance and help.
Some pictures that I clicked from a distance during the sunset hour. At that time I did not have a very fancy camera so the picture quality was not very good, but I am glad to still have these memories to reflect back on and remember these days.
