Lupines bloom giving a different colour to the whole Andean Region. [ENG/ESP]

Lupines (Lupinus polyphyllus) bloom in spring throughout the Andean Region in the Chilean-Argentinean Patagonian region.

Their predominant colour is red, although light pink and even white lupines, the rarest, can also be seen.

Los lupines (Lupinus polyphyllus) florecen durante la primavera en toda la Comarca Andina en la región patagónica chileno-argentina.

Su color predominante es el rojo aunque también se pueden observar lupines de color rosa claro e incluso blancos, los más raros.

Throughout Patagonia (Argentina and Chile) it is often found on the edge of streets, roads and asphalted routes, and especially very close to watercourses, where it reaches its fullness and best floral display.

En toda la Patagonia (argentina y chilena) es frecuente encontrarla al borde de calles, caminos y rutas asfaltadas y especialmente muy cerca de los cursos de agua, donde alcanza su mayor plenitud y su mejor exposición floreal.
