Keeping a Diary of Progress

One of the most helpful fitness habits I have developed is to maintain a progress diary that tracks my daily performance.

Whether that's in the gym, biking or going for a run. I log it all. This helps me to decide how I should approach my subsequent sessions, as I slowly push to achieve more each time.

Keeping track of progress is also a great motivation booster and will also help identify any stages of plateau.
