I was born to be brave, So I could face my day
I'm not a coward, I won't run away

I tried to live life without fear,
But deep down inside I had so much trouble
I was scared of what people would see

I glance at the clock, light turning red
Deep breath, wipe my hands
It's time to start my day, I'll be at work tonight

I'm a small child inside a grown man's body
It's a strange feeling knowing you'll never be a kid again
The future feels so far away
When I'm too scared to start my day.
