Dreaming while Hoping still…

There's a new wind blowing,
Like I've never known before,
There's new hope in my life,
I'm breathing deeper than I've ever done.

I'm holding on to this chance that I've waited 30 years ago,
I'm living alive than I ever expected to,
It's such a beautiful thing,
I learned to understand hope.

And I'm here waiting in line to see the sunshine,
Remembering dreams that I'd given up on before,
I tried to be somebody that I deserve,
Took patience when it was offered to me but I couldn't say no.
