What I like about traveling on the road is that I have peace of mind, and I can think about what I should do in life. That's why, if possible, I'll go on a road trip for a week to take roads, bridges, and places I've never been to. Maybe that trip will be productive so that I can think about my present and future plans in life.
The most enjoyable part of the trip is that I can play the music that I choose myself. Then I'll play it a little louder so I can really enjoy listening. If you are curious about what types of songs I like to play, here are some of the ones I listen to:
I like listening to upbeat music, especially when driving in the fast lane so I can feel the speed and thrill of the drive.
But of course, there are times when I want to play mellow music because the traffic is a little slow. Of course, I can relax on the flight when the drive is slow because it's stressful when I listen to upbeat music when the traffic is slow.
So, that's my trip music when I'm traveling. I adjust the pace of the drive to the music so I can feel the moment.
I don't like to drive anymore, but the playlist can sure make a big difference in the journey. I kind of miss the open roads. Here most of my travel is by train and piblic transportation. Still I have a playlist of songs running in my head. Even when I'm teaching in front of students I have a song. Sometimes I ask them and they never heard of it because they are eleven years old and sometimes I just play them the song in my head anyway, because sometimes the world just needs random music.
Very true! It's too silent if I drive without playing any song; that's why I subscribe to Spotify so I can create my own playlist with all of the songs that I wanted to listen to while traveling.
You are right, the world needs music, it would be boring without it :)
