I decided to first check whats out there and a comment by @zuerich made me start looking at Coursera first.

A desired implementation of a not exact vision

Coursera is built very well. But its obvious from first sight that the aim is to get you paying. There are free courses sponsored by lecturers and institutions that wants to be published, that sits well with The Global School model. Also an interesting idea is the Education Path suggested by centralised companies. For example a career path by Google/Meta. The idea that central organizations will take part in content contribution is an exact match to The Global School model.

Whats Missing Then?

2 Major things missing -

• All Content Free - The global school should give free access to all the content, it will be free for any person. Coursera is way far from this vision owning the content and thus in the long term causing risk of manipulations and extenting educational gaps.

• No place for the non-career studies - I should search more maybe but Coursera seems career focused (because its money driven) and it doesn't give place to the variaty of the non career beautiful subjects.

Though an implementation of The Global School can be a threat on Coursera, I see Coursera as a distinguished member in The Global School once it will enable such a proffessional organization to benefit from a real global community and benefit content, data and knowledge from many people with no access to the US fiat.
