What are we going to leave after us? Whats our legacy?
Today 2.7.2022 while taking a shower I had a vision.

The Global School

Every person in the world will have free access to choose a recommended study track, to help them achieve their goals.

The track not only includes free content, it is also updated and focused in educating the learner to achieve their goals.

This is the goal. This is the vision.
Now how will it happen?

In my vision its a DAO, maybe Blurt based. The members of this DAO can be any individuals or centralised organisations like Wikipedia, Lichess, Universities, Governments etc. And it will be runned on DPoS.

Why is this needed? Everything is already on the net

The problem today is not accessing content but its more filtering it right.
Many groups of interest feed us with content we don't need or even want. Also its hard to build our own course. The Global School will have courses composed and updated, and the relation between pieces of content is where the value relies.

We already have sites that does well on their field. Whats the value of the unified platform?

Good question, asked by myslef. Lets take an example I know well - Lichess and Wikipedia.
Lichess is a great place to learn chess. They have all the content in the world and fine courses.
Wikipedia is a great source of knowledge, they do it best as far as I know.

Decentralisation and Synergy

The problem is both centralised. If tomorrow one of them will close or decide to censor it will be a majour loss to the commuties.
A unified platform can also create synergy when we want to compose a course.

Lets say I want to become a chess instructor. I need to learn the following -

1. Chess
   2 . Teacher for my audience - kids/grownups
2. Maybe remote teaching

I have all the Chess related knowledge on Lichess.
I might get some teaching knowledge from Wikipedia, I could also learn how to teach kids/adults from a university, and maybe there is an online course that can teach me effective teaching via remote media.

Now lets imagine a platform which each of these sources is a member empowered by DPoS.
These members can compose and maintain a course and when I use this course I acn contribute back to these members either by monitization and/or by feedback and/or by recommendation.

I know its not yet well organized thought. I should work on it and also learn whats already out there.
It is also very much Blurt oriented idea, and a very raw idea for a second layer on Blurt.

Also the PoC should be something more specific and focused even though the endgame is vast and global.

Anyway wanted to share as soon as the vision came up.
I first figured I better wait until I have more resources, but then again, why wait? The time is now.
