You can never look at the future and tie isolated events together. This is possible only by looking back. Therefore, you have to believe that isolated events will one day become meaningful in the future. You have to believe in your destiny, life, deeds, something or other. It never failed me, it did the opposite.

My second story is a story of love and loss.

I was very lucky. Because, early in life, I found what I love to do. When I was 20, Oz and I started Apple in our home garage. We worked hard, so that company of two became a িয়ন 2 billion company with 4,000 employees in 10 years. When I was 30, we released our best computer, the Macintosh. It happened exactly one year later. I got fired from Apple. How do you get rid of the company you own? Funny thing is, it happened to me. When Apple started to grow as an organization, I hired someone who would work with me to run the company well. Even after one year, I started to disagree with him. When the board of directors took his side, I was fired from Apple. And that was a lot of drumming. You know how frustrating it was for me. The thing I have been chasing all my life is no longer mine.
