The eventual fate of space colonization holds uncommon potential for mankind's existence past Earth with Mars being the next to be felled up because of it ability to accommodate human life.

Increased innovation in combination with aggressive drives from government space offices and privately owned businesses are driving endeavors to ensure that humans can exist outside of earth and still have economic stability and relevance. Mars with its likenesses to Earth and accessibility to resources presents a practical objective for long haul human colonization. Plans for Mars missions include laying out research stations and in the long run fabricating self-supporting settlements equipped for supporting human life.

Aside Mars, some other researches believe that humans can exist in other planetary bodies like the Moon and space rocks. The knowledge of other planetary bodies hold the possibility to open new resource tapping, preparing for a multi-planetary occupancy by humans and guaranteeing the drawn out endurance and success of mankind past Earth.
