Back in 2016 when I originally wrote a post on Steemit about millenials defacing themselves with crap tattoos, Steemit was a totally pumping new blockchain platform, and I felt like some sort of crypto blogging god. Even then I did have a sense that all was not as it seemed, but I had no idea how hard the illusion was about to crash
The realisation that Steemit was always set up as ponzi scheme right from the outset, (and also an AI in social media development site) was at least a year away for me…
One of the best things about my blog posts back then, were all the comments and interactions. So here in all its glory, with the original comments included, is one of my posts from the good old days.

I don't think I knew you on Steemit - I started out as @sift666 which was a smart move because the insiders loved satanic shit - but when they sussed out that I was taking the piss they blacklisted that account so I switched to my regular online identity of frot and never enjoyed the larger rewards again :)
