I just became an Uncle myself.
…get told by the teacher…not to day-dream.
It happened in the blink of an eye.
I’m gonna tell a story and make sure this is official with the permission I have to tell the story for now.
Takoda has a cousin he hasn’t yet met.
A ten year old little man of a boy who has seen the worst this world has to offer. Truth Or Bust and friends of ToB has had Takoda in prayers since jump publicly. Our newest super-hero has been fighting his battle behind the scenes patterned right alongside Takoda. He can teach Takoda some things about survival and Takoda is already battle-hardened.
Takoda can teach this warrior some things about grandpas. And uncles.
The power of the child called problem.
In a world of inter-dimensional communications and Quantum Mania, signs and wonders are often missed.
Mostly been keeping miracles to myself for a minute.
He came to us. We could not rescue him. We all tried.
“Grandpa. Will you take me to church?”
BOOM.
Assigned.
The story of the days after that moment are the paperwork part and why I can say I just became an uncle.
The years of story before reveal the miracle of the moment.
My story-telling ethos long forgotten by most still paying attention is this… I don’t tell stories that others hold close unless they request, give permission, or lie about one of the ones I am assigned to protect.
That’s been critical in #TakodaLife.
This is something different.
I suspect that my new nephew, who I am so fiercely proud of and amazed by, will be telling you his own story sooner than later. What better project for a brilliant resourceful youth than learning how to GROCK the block before the normie kids?
Wait until he realizes his power.
