Being mindful makes you happier, thus it's crucial. Even if someone is successful, they may not feel content or happy. Many people find themselves lonely, miserable, empty, and frustrated when they reach the peak of their careers. Chief executives frequently gauge their internal value based on their external achievements. While achievement is a fantastic feeling, the rush of success fades fast and might be lost. Happiness always comes from within.

Instead of waiting for the finish line or an accomplishment, it's critical to find fulfillment in the process, the journey, and the ascent. Imagine a climber who has her sights set on ascending a particular mountain. It is only after she reaches the summit that she determines she will be content. However, after arriving and taking in the scenery for a little while, the climber becomes restless upon seeing the next mountain peak. Already, she is considering climbing the next mountain.

All life occurs throughout the journey, particularly in the valleys between mountain summits, but the climber was unsuccessful to recognize this. We risk becoming stuck in a never-ending cycle of dread, stress, nervousness, and dissatisfaction as we go after the next triumph if we aren't finding contentment along the way. And the satisfaction we get from accomplishing something significant, like selling a company or landing a CEO position, might not endure long enough. Several weeks? Some days? Two or three hours? You need to focus on awareness because of this.

Achievement is an art and varies from person to person, whereas achievement is a science that can be attained by adhering to specific techniques and tactics. Your particular wiring, values, upbringing, and personality all play a significant role. Your definition of happiness is not the same as mine. Remember that the capacity to be present in the moment matters just as much as tomorrow's success as you work on developing mindfulness. As you engage with staff members, are you being present? Just like the woman who was concerned about not having shoes until she saw the man who had no feet, are you realizing how many things, no matter how minor, you may be thankful for? Have gratitude for your feet.
