One day, a man and his son went to a nearby store to buy some things. After buying all they wanted to buy and upon leaving the store, they met with the owner of the store. When the owner of the store saw the little boy, he smiled at him and asked of his name. The boy answered and the owner of the store offered the boy some free sweets.
The owner of the store asked the little boy to park a hand full of the sweet but the boy stood there looking at his father. The owner of the store asked him the second time to pack a hand full of sweet but the boy refused and kept looking at his father. Again for the third time, the owner asked the little boy to pack a hand full of sweet. The boy did not move as he continued looking at his father.
The father not knowing what to do finally reached for jar and packed a hand full of the sweet. He gave them to his son and the left the store for their house. On their way home, the man asked his son why he refused to pack the hand full of the sweet and why he was looking at him. The boy answered with a big smile on his face Because I know that your hand is bigger than mine.
Lesson from the story:
God's hand is bigger than yours and He is always ready to come to your aid at all time. So as you go this year, commit everything to His hand. His hand is bigger than yours and you will get the best from Him.
Psalm 89:13
You have a strong arm; Your hand is mighty, Your right hand is exalted.
