Rude Children Turn Into Rude Adults

I've had experiences with many rude adults but this one really pushed me past my limits.

It was during my Songkran holiday; I was at my grandmother's house to spend some quality family time. One evening as we sat down to a nice barbeque dinner, one of our neighbours showed up. She was around the same age as my grandmother and I was informed that she was a tomb boy. As we ate, she asked me what surname I had, which was kind of odd because why would she care? I replied saying that I took my mother's name and I guess that wasn't enough for her. She then started saying that that wasn't right and began saying bad things about my mother. The worst part was that she said all this right in front of my half-sister. I had enough, I stood up, looked her right in the eye and said that whatever my mother named me was none of her business and I proceeded to give her my father's "you're a moron face", while also staring right into her eyes. I saw her squirm so after a few more seconds I dropped my gazed and left the scene, my appetite was ruined.

Some people might say that it was rude of me to say that sort of thing to an "adult" or I overreacted but to be honest I really don't care. One of my aunts saw how upset I looked and said that "she's an adult" and "they don't understand". This just proves that dumb children grow up to be dumb adults. Everyone in my family knows how sensitive I am to this particular topic and no one ever mentions it, and they especially never bad mouth my mother. I also heard from my cousins that this old hag says means things to everyone. They say she body shames and judge’s my relatives appearances. Why my family tolerates this is beyond me. I managed to fight back tears at the dinner table but a few managed to splash out while I was in the bathroom.
