Because it's a symbol of respect and love to the woman they chose to be with, some guys always kiss the forehead first.
Many years ago, I read a book that stated that kissing the forehead is a show of respect and affection. That claims kissing the lips is lust, and I've never forgotten it till today.
I wish I could recall the title of the book.
