What are the top decentralized social media platforms in 2023 ?

in steemit •  last year  (edited)

This is interesting. Where’s Blurt on this list ?

How many active bloggers are here ? “Average Monthly Unique Visitors”

I was very Surprised to see Steemit still ranked way up at #2 …

I’m not sure how accurate this is.

If you add Hive + Peakd + Ecency then Hive would come around #8 with 500,000

Check out the Video on Youtube and maybe recommend Blurt.blog in the comments ...

Thank you very much

Not sure I believe this list. Steemit sure doesn't have the activity to match the supposed views.

Well… I thought the same …then I did the following test … go to both and check out the number of New posts on both … Steemit has at least 3 times more posts per minute ….

How about comments and upvotes though? Without engagement, new posts don't mean much. Quantity isn't the same as quality.

That’s very true.

I have also checked. But soon Blurt will also be at the top. I love that Steemit is number two. Thanks for sharing

Yeah… I would love to see Blurt on there … but I think we are way down at 1,191 active users per month ??? Is that accurate ?

How many active visits ??

I didn't realize there were that many decentralized social media platforms.

I think there are really only 2 : Hive and Blurt ? Maybe not.
Actually a few whales own 90% of all the crypto on each Blockchain … So none are really decentralized.
It’s more like Communism with Oligarchs … or Politburo….. Don’t step out of line Commrade.

Nah, more like capitalism...or corporatism maybe. You have as much power as you have money.
