Holders of Eurobonds of Ukraine agreed to defer payments. What does it mean and what benefits does it bring? Ukraine received consent from the owners of Eurobonds regarding the restructuring of the debt - postponing payments and repayment terms for them by two years.
Thanks to this decision:
Ukraine will save almost $6 billion in payments. These funds will strengthen the stability of the economy and increase the power of the army.
Ukrainians will be able to better prepare for the heating season and more effectively restore the infrastructure destroyed by Russia.
In addition, such a decision will help the country avoid default.
Держателі єврооблігацій України погодилися на відтермінування платежів. Що це означає і яку користь приносить? Україна отримала згоди від власників євробондів щодо реструктуризації боргу – відтермінування виплат і термінів погашення за ними на два роки.
Завдяки цьому рішенню:
- Україна заощадить на виплатах майже $6 мільярдів. Ці кошти посилять стійкість економіки та збільшать міць армії.
- Українці зможуть краще підготуватися до опалювального сезону та ефективніше відновлювати зруйновану росією інфраструктуру.
Крім цього, таке рішення допоможе країні уникнути дефолту.
