I watched most of the Paris Saint Germain - Atalanta match, it was very interesting and I did get to see some real good football at times, Atalanta were not able to keep the lead and were eliminated in overtime in just three minutes. I do think PSG were the better side and deserved to make it through, Atalanta were a very good and brave side but in the end failed to go through.
Now I know many people don't like PSG because of the owner and many people don't like Neymar because of his attitude. But I will ask these people something, is an incredible amount of money not invested in the other top European clubs? Why is there not the same hatred for other clubs? For example do you know how much Messi or Ronaldo make every year? Should you hate them? Personally this side of them is indifferent to me, I just envy that they are able to make a living doing exactly what they want to do, I do wish I had had that opportunity. But saying that I can also tell you that the amounts of money spent by the big clubs is astounding, are they worth it? That is a good question, I think they are, they do make millions perhaps billions of people very happy.
As for Neymar, he is not one of my favorite players but when he has that ball I don't think at this moment there is anyone better, yes Messi has something over him in that he has a better picture of the game, he nearly always tends to finish his possession with a good pass, but technically I think Neymar is superior. Ok, he dives a lot and he is not liked too much but face it, he is a great player.
Well now PSG will play against the winner of Atletico de Madrid - Leipzig, Atletico de Madrid should come out ahead, Leipzig no longer has Timo Werner, but Atletico has one major drawback, if a team scores an early goal against them things look impossibly hard for them to make a comeback, so I am not willing to bet on this game, either of the two is a good team.
