Barcelona-Bayern Munich, a supposedly top level game between two of the best clubs in Europe, it didn't work out that, way the game was about one top level club and another one that is definitely in decline. Football is a team sport and a club is only as good as the worst of its players on that game, today all Barcelona is owing an explanation, after Bayern's second goal it seemed the Spanish club just gave up.
An 8-2 score is not an every day score and against Barcelona it is unheard of. I really thought before the game that Bayern would go through but not in the way they did. But the problem with Barcelona is not of this UCL it happened against Roma, it happened against Liverpool and now against Bayern, the club just depended too much on Messi and never tried to find alternatives and this is the result.
But the decadence is not only Barcelona it can also be seen in a very bad Real Madrid a cowardly Atletico de Madrid, you know the only team that has happened to show a good game is Sevilla and even Sevilla will have a very difficult time against Manchester United, I think MU wins this game. Yes Spanish football needs a complete rejuvenation, the players are too old or too young and the better younger players are actually not even playing in Spain.
