Doing Taekwondo

in sport •  3 years ago

I've learnt how to use a gun, but I can't have a gun up my arse all the time, plus bullets can get expensive. So, I wanted to put my body to good use. Time for some martial arts. I also wanted to make some friends so I don't lose my social skills and to also aid the loneliness that comes free with homeschooling.

I started Taekwondo a few days ago and just had my second lesson. On the first day I felt so alone, it was like the first day in a new school. Since I just started that means I'm a white belt, two other boys were white belts, but they had already been learning for a month or so. Even though everyone has to wear a mask while learning, I think it's worth it. When the evil comes you need to know how to protect yourself.

Luckily, my body is quite flexible, so I wasn't too achy after the first lesson. But after the second lesson, I was sore all over. The second lesson focused more on kicking. Let me rephrase that, it was all about kicking. Front kicks, Sidekicks, Back kicks, just all of it.

All that swimming and yoga is paying off now, even with a new sport.

I like the mixing , mine is kickboxing , yoga ( i have a teacher diploma ) and wing-tsun ... bullets i love too but so not allowed in France . Even a knife is not allowed 😟 and martial art to be used for protection but being careful to not kill .

I was shocked when I read this sentence but no surprise.

Anyway, it's good to know how to "kick, Front kicks, Sidekicks, Back kicks" :D
Hope you enjoy your next lesson @dudiland .
