this is a great opportunity to express my query about not actually the Peaceful Giant as a monster
but for the drawing
we can see on the picture the Giant holding on his right hand an elephant!
on his left hand there is an eagle!
if you compare the size between the Eagle and the Elephant you will realize that it's not the size of the Giant we have to talk about but this monstrous Eagle!!!
isn't he adorable?
look at him how cute and peaceful is....so strong but unwilling to harm anybody
most probably he got in Splinterlands by mistake, he must have come from another world
Peaceful Giant is a neutral card which means you can use him anytime no matter which Splinter you have chosen to play with
this card has no attack, if i remember correct the Giant was the very first card with no attack at all and made me such an impression when it was released
i thought nobody was going to use this card in this savage world but i was wrong again
the Giant can take a lot of damage and this makes him a powerful tank
if you consider , that because of his size he is too slow when the rules of the battle allows it he becomes even more powerful ,when we have reverse speed rule i mean , and this was the case in the battle i'm about to describe you
i think there is not much to tell about this monster except the fact that he has a very big life capacity from lvl 1 (8 points at this lvl) and as upgraded he gets to 17 points of life at lvl 10....it is very difficult to take him down!
lets see the stats of the card
you can click on the following link to see my battle in which i used the Peaceful Giant
... Peaceful Giant's Battle...
the battle was not difficult
first of all it was a 48 mana cap battle, pretty high for my standards which means i had a very big list of different options to choose
but you know when you are not restricted by the rules you may fell into mistakes, and this is what happened to me in this battle ,thank God it turned out to be not so serious mistake
when i first got the rules which were ' Unprotected ' which means no armor at all and ' Reverse Speed ' which means the lowest Speed becomes most powerful and after checking on my opponent i said i had to play with my Giant as a tank
his speed at 1 point , his 5 mana consumption and his great life points made me think instantly to use him
i know you have many times heard me ( if you're reading my posts ) that when i see the battle i think of cards
well this is experience guys, for newbies i know Splinterlands is a Labyrinth but for me everything is so straight and normal, you see after so many battles on the game i have everything inside my head, ready to be used
so as i said i thought of peaceful giant as a tank but i made a mistake, i chose the wrong summoner cause i was not focused on my game
i decided to pick Valnamor as a summoner
what a great mistake for a battle with 'reverse speed' rule
Valnamor increases the speed of every friendly monster by 1 point which for this battle could have been deadly for my team
you cannot go to this battle with this summoner it is a mistake
but this was the case for me so i have to show what i picked
of course Valnamor got +1 magic attack and +1 life point for my monsters so equalized a bit the damage he did by increasing the speed of them
let me explain you what was my thoughts about the fight and how i select my team
the rule that was catalytic for my decision was the reverse speed
out of my experience when i get this rule i face great difficulties in my monster's efficiency to hit the opponent
range attack and melee attack monsters miss the target many times unless all of them are monsters with 1 speed lvl
so my intention was not to risk this
in order for not to risk this i had to go magic attack which always find its target
and this is what i did
i went magic but with the wrong summoner
the best scenario now i'm thinking about would have been to choose Delwyn but anyway
in the first place as a tank i 've already told you i chose the Giant ,my GOLD FOIL Giant
a card which is not so expensive at the market right now
it is trading at 8.10$ which is a descent amount but not so expensive for a collection card like this one
do not forget there is no other way to get this card any more except the market
and there are only 31 cards trading so if you want him you have to get it now you can
in 2nd place i picked my newly acquired GOLD FOIL Captain's Ghost and in 3rd place the Ruler of the Seas
the Ruler has the explode ability so it is must card in many battlefields, in case you don't have him in your collection i think you must go and purchase him
in position number 4 i picked my GOLD FOIL Sea Genie, low speed and high attack was perfect for supporting my team
in the last two places 5th and 6th i placed 2 monsters which you may think they were not meant to be part of this fight
Phantom of the Abyss and Spirit Miner are two high agility monsters which may look off topic in this terrain but i needed their high attack force so i found the use of them a correct decision even if they were going to play last in queue
i was ready to fight!
- Peaceful Giant lvl 3
- Captain's Ghost lvl 2
- Ruler of the Seas lvl 1
- Sea Genie lvl 3
- Phantom of the Abyss lvl 1
- Spirit Miner lvl 1

despite my first mistake on choosing the Summoner i won the battle cause my opponent made more mistakes than me
first of all he chose a monster which had the ability of reducing the agility of the enemy team, but in this battle this became a bonus to me!
also he chose to play with Lightning Dragon which was totally useless in this terrain
this is the true beauty of Splinterlands
anything can change and the most powerful can turn out to be the most weak and the opposite!
i won 7 DEC and grew my balance, i need them to purchase a legendary dragon, i will not reveal to you which one till i get it!
enjoy yourselves!
